100 Artists • 100 Recipes • 100 Stories
Following the tremendous success of our first Artful Cooking cookbook, Artists of Palm Beach County is excited to announce plans for a new, expanded hardcover edition featuring 100 APBC artists.
With more than 200 copies sold, our first cookbook has found an enthusiastic audience well beyond our membership. It is currently available in the gift shops at the Norton Museum of Art, Cultural Council for Palm Beach County, Boca Raton Museum of Art, and Cornell Art Museum, and we’re thrilled that it will also be featured on The Society of the Four Arts 2027 book list.
Building on that success, the new More Artful Cooking will bring together 100 artists, 100 recipes, and 100 stories—celebrating art, food, family traditions, memories, and the stories of our creative community in a beautiful keepsake edition.
Each selected artist will have a dedicated feature combining their artwork, a favorite recipe, and a personal story about the recipe or its significance.
Important Dates
NOTE: We are only accepting 100 artists who will be juried in! Your application and payment do not guarantee acceptance.
SUBMISSION FEES: $30 for APBC Members - MEMBERS ONLY
APBC Membership is $50/year, VIP Membership is $100/year, and Lifetime Membership is a one-time fee of $1,000. If you wish to join APBC or renew your lapsed membership, please visit www.artistsofpalmbeachcounty.org and click on “Membership."
WHAT TO SUBMIT
Each artist will submit:
Recipes can include appetizers, soups, salads, entrées, side dishes, breads, desserts, beverages, family favorites, cultural specialties, or any recipe that has special meaning to you.
ELIGIBILITY
This opportunity is open to current Artists of Palm Beach County (APBC) members.
Artists who participated in the first edition of Artful Cooking are welcome—and encouraged—to participate again. Returning artists must submit a new recipe and artwork different from what was featured in the first cookbook.
Your artwork does not need to be food-related. We want the cookbook to showcase our members' diversity and creativity, so we encourage artists to submit work that best represents their artistic practice.
Space is limited to 100 artists.
