Holy Moly: Breaking News

In continuation of our Holy Moly series of exhibitions, Niza Knoll Gallery invites local Colorado artists to submit artwork in the theme of Holy Moly: Breaking News.

Is news breaking? Or is the news broken?
We are constantly confronted with “Breaking News” on every TV, internet and social media channel. New information. Events in progress. Some more shocking or surreal than the rest. At times, new information doesn't feel new. Real-time events feel predictable. And, when the rights of the free press are being taken away, we as consumers can easily find ourselves wary—and weary—of the tagline itself and the content that follows.

Use your artistic skills to reflect the theme as you interpret it.
