The Courageously Created Fine Art Show & Benefit Auction is a juried, in-person event held Saturday, April 24, 2027, at the Alatheia Center for Equine-Assisted Therapies Arena in Wenatchee, WA.
Alatheia changes lives with the healing power of horses. We provide equine-assisted services for children and adults with physical, developmental, intellectual, and emotional disabilities; veterans and first responders working through trauma; and adults with disabilities building life and transferable work skills. Through these three pillar programs, Alatheia fosters empowerment, resilience, independence, and belonging.
This Fine Art Show & Benefit Auction celebrates courage and creativity while serving a greater purpose: to raise funds to build a dedicated space to serve the mental health needs of veterans and first responders as they navigate post-traumatic stress recovery. By participating, artists and patrons directly help veterans and first responders access the vital services they need in a safe, welcoming, and healing space.
Saturday evening will feature an exclusive Opening Reception & Benefit Auction expected to draw a large community crowd.
Our Juror will present awards on Saturday evening to the first-place ($1000.00), second-place ($600.00), and third-place ($250.00) winners, along with three honorable mentions.
We are now accepting submissions of original works of art, all subject matter, genres, and styles. All art must be appropriate for all ages. The juror will select and ultimately curate an eclectic array of original artwork. The submission deadline is March 15th, 2027.

Art Sales:
Your art has the power to change lives. By contributing to Alatheia's Courageously Created Fine Art Show & Benefit Auction, you’re not only sharing your creativity with the community, you’re helping Alatheia expand capacity and eliminate the waitlist so more children, adults, veterans, and first responders can experience the healing power of horses. To ensure strong bidding and meaningful proceeds, auction starting bids will be set below the full retail value you provide (approximately 35–40%), encouraging lively participation while honoring the worth of your work. Every sale is split 50/50 between the artist and Alatheia, making your art both a celebration of creativity and a gift of hope to those waiting for service
For artists who feel inspired to donate 100% of the sale of a piece, your generosity will make an even greater impact. A full donation directly supports Alatheia, ensuring that more children, adults, veterans, and first responders can access equine-assisted services when they need them most. In gratitude, Alatheia will reimburse your CaFÉ Call fee, highlight your contribution on our website and social media, and present you with a signed certificate of appreciation recognizing both your artistry and your gift.
