The Festival has become a signature cultural destination, drawing thousands of visitors from across the Southwest and beyond.
The Festival begins with a lively Friday evening PREVIEW PARTY, a ticketed event for patrons, collectors, and sculpture lovers. This festive evening sets the tone for the weekend with live music, food and beverages, and the special opportunity to meet participating artists and preview their work before the Festival opens to the general public. Accepted artists and one guest are invited to attend at no charge.
The Festival provides a unique opportunity for sculptors to present and sell their work in an outdoor setting designed to encourage discovery, conversation, and engagement. Artists may exhibit in individual tent spaces and may also submit large-scale works for display throughout the Festival grounds, showcasing an exceptional range of materials, scales, styles, and approaches to contemporary sculpture.
The Festival is supported by extensive marketing, media partnerships, and Sculpture Tucson’s year-round efforts to increase public awareness and appreciation of sculpture. Free admission on Saturday and Sunday, educational programming, and family-friendly activities help attract a broad audience, while collectors, arts professionals, and institutions have the opportunity to discover and acquire work directly from participating artists.
