Tubac Center of the Arts annual “Members’ Juried Exhibit” is a juried exhibition open to all members of the Tubac Center of the Arts and all media is accepted.
Tubac Center of the Arts “Members’ Juried Exhibit” is juried exhibit open to all members of the Tubac Center of the Arts and all media is accepted, including video. Work must have been completed within the last 24 months. Work that has been previously displayed at TCA is not eligible. All work must be the original creation of the artist.
The Members’ Juried Exhibit is an Invitational exhibit for artist members of Tubac Center of the Arts. To become a member of TCA, please register on our website at www.Tubacarts.org or call 520-398-2371. Non-Members will immediately be disqualified, and no refund will be issued.
Juror: Mary-Beth Buegsen
BIO: With more than 17 years of experience in museums, Mary-Beth Buesgen brings a deep commitment to care, connection, and community to her role as Lead Curator at the Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum. Prior to this role she was at the ASU Art Museum for 15 years as the Curator and Collection Manager of the Museum’s Ceramics Research Center. Throughout her tenure she has juried numerous art shows including most recently the Artists of Promise exhibition at Phoenix College.
She views curation not just as the selecting and displaying of artwork, but as an ongoing act of stewardship; ensuring that the future generations can experience, learn and be inspired.
What she loves most? Curating exhibitions that celebrate inclusion, curiosity, and the community to feel seen, valued and recognized.

Art not picked up after 60 days will become the property of Tubac Center of the Arts and may be auctioned/sold with proceeds solely benefiting TCA.
Images: Artists agree to release the use of images of accepted works to TCA only as a permanent record of the exhibition and only for promotional use relating to the exhibition and the Art Center.
Artwork:
Giclee reproductions are not permitted. Entry must be original; entirely the work of the artist, executed within the last 24 months, and cannot have been previously shown at TCA.
No art may be removed from the exhibit prior to the close of the exhibition on Sunday, February 15, 2027, including sold art.
Delivery/Shipping:
Artists are responsible for shipping to and from TCA. Unsold work will be shipped back to the artist after the closing of the exhibition. Artists must provide a PREPAID shipping label for the return of their artwork.
Fees:
Members may enter up to three (3) 2d or 3d artworks in any media. The non-refundable entry fee for the first entry is $35, and $5 for each additional entry. Payments are made at the end of the CaFE™ entry process either via credit card online or check paid to TCA prior to the deadline.
Awards:
Awards will be selected and presented in person during the opening reception. This year’s awards judge has yet to be determined, but the prospectus will be updated when one has been found. The juror we had contracted had to back out just before the call was published.

The Best of Show winner will also receive a solo exhibit in the Studio Gallery, April 2 – May 16, 2027.
Presentation:
All artwork must arrive in a condition ready to professionally display or hang. If framed, work must be suitably matted, (white, black or neutral colors preferred), simply framed and firmly wired. No sawtooth hangers. TCA reserves the right to disqualify any selected entry upon arrival that does not meet the above requirements or is deemed unsuitable for display.
Sales:
All work must be for sale. TCA will retain a 40% commission. Price work accordingly.
Artists must apply through CAFE and agree to all terms listed in the application.
Eligible to any artist in the United States over the age of 18, and must be a member of TCA.
