What connects us? What patterns emerge when ideas, experiences, people, events, or observations intersect? Positive Correlations invites artists from around the world to explore the relationships we discover, and the conclusions we draw from them.
A positive correlation can appear hopeful, reinforcing what we believe to be true. But correlation can also expose troubling patterns, challenge assumptions, or provide evidence that causes us to reconsider what we thought we knew. It can help verify an idea, refute it, or open the door to an entirely different understanding.
From science and technology to nature, politics, culture, identity, relationships, economics, history, and everyday life, correlations shape how we interpret our world.
We invite artists working in any medium, perspective, culture, or subject to interpret the theme broadly, personally, playfully, critically, or provocatively.
What connects? What conflicts? What does the evidence reveal?
Show us your Positive Correlations.
