Palm Gallery invites artists from around the world to submit work for STRANGE & BEAUTIFUL, an international juried exhibition celebrating art that surprises, fascinates, challenges, and captivates.

We welcome a wide range of styles and subjects — from abstraction and portraiture to landscapes, photography, figurative work, surrealism, nature, mixed media, and beyond. Your work can be elegant or strange, quiet or explosive, playful or mysterious.

What makes something beautiful?

Is it harmony? Imperfection? Mystery? Color? Emotion? A face, a landscape, an unexpected moment — or something we cannot quite explain?

Palm Gallery invites artists from around the world to participate in STRANGE & BEAUTIFUL, an international juried exhibition celebrating the extraordinary places where beauty and the unexpected collide.

We are looking for artwork that makes us stop, look again, and feel something.

The strange can be mysterious, surreal, humorous, dreamlike, unconventional, unsettling, playful, or completely unexpected. The beautiful can be delicate, dramatic, raw, imperfect, emotional, powerful, or deeply personal.

Together, they create something unforgettable.

Artists are encouraged to interpret the theme freely. Your work does not need to be surreal or unusual in an obvious way. A striking portrait, an abstract composition, a dramatic landscape, a quiet photograph, an unexpected color combination, an unusual perspective, or an extraordinary detail from everyday life can all belong in STRANGE & BEAUTIFUL.

We welcome a broad range of artistic approaches, including painting, photography, drawing, digital art, mixed media, collage, illustration, sculpture, and other visual media.

This exhibition is intentionally open and expansive. We want to see the world through your eyes.

We are especially interested in work that feels visually compelling, original, emotionally engaging, or impossible to ignore.

Perhaps your work celebrates imperfection. Perhaps it transforms something ordinary into something extraordinary. Perhaps it explores beauty in places others overlook. Or perhaps it simply creates an image that makes the viewer wonder:

ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

STRANGE & BEAUTIFUL.is an international online art exhibition that invites painters, digital artists, photographers, and mixed-media creators to explore the emotional, cultural, and visual impact of Line, shape, and form. We welcome your interpretation if you create abstract masterpieces, surreal dreamscapes, or hyperrealistic scenes!

Artworks will be judged based on creativity, originality, quality of work, composition, and overall artistic ability.

-  Selected artworks (up to 3 per applicant) will be exhibited in an international online group exhibition organized by Palm Art Gallery.

- Other awards include a lifelong permanent link to boost artists’ online visibility and intensive exposure for selected artists to showcase their artworks to art enthusiasts, experts, and art collectors.

You can enter this competition with a Single Entry of:

• Three art pieces for $32, if you wish to submit only one, submit it 3 times in order to meet the minimum requirement.
• Up to 15 additional art pieces  at $10 each)

Exhibiting artists will be selected based on the quality of their single entry and the overall quality of their work. Exhibiting artists will be announced by  October 7, 2016 If you are selected for this exhibition, details will be provided via email.

Categories: Original artworks in 2D and 3D media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, digital art, and mixed media.

Styles: All styles are accepted, including abstract and representational.

Size: No size limit.

Creation Year: No limit,

Originality: Artworks must be entirely the entrant’s work without supervision. No copies or derivatives of other works.

Rights: Artists must have all rights to present and publish their artworks internationally.

Photo Requirements: Only the artwork should be visible (no frames or extraneous backgrounds).

Number of Artworks: Up to 9 original pieces can be submitted.

Other Restrictions: Artworks containing pornographic, violent, racist, or religiously hateful content are not admissible.

Life-long Links: Exhibition links and artist pages will remain active indefinitely, enhancing the online visibility of the selected artists. The buy button will be removed if the artwork is sold somewhere else
