About smallART 2026/27:

smallART 2026/27 is a unique exhibition showcasing the creativity of local artists from the Arts Illiana’s six-county region and the Illinois counties of Clark and Edgar. This intimate collection celebrates the beauty and impact of small-scale art, with each piece measuring no larger than 12" X 12" framed and 12” X 12” X 12” for sculpture. Running from November 13th, 2026, to February 6th, 2027, the exhibition not only highlights the creative spirit of our community but also emphasizes the importance of supporting artists by providing opportunities to sell their works. Come explore how size DOES matter in this special showcase of local talent.

ARTIST TIMELINE:

● Artwork entries (CaFÉ): OPEN NOW, 2026 - October 23, 2026
● Juror voting: October 24th - 26th, 2026
● Artists notified: October 26th, 2026
● Accepted art delivery: October 27th - 31st & November 3rd - 7th
● Opening reception: November 13th | 6:00 - 8:00 PM
● Viewing days: November 13th, 2026 - February 6th, 2027

Open ONLY to artists in Arts Illiana’s six-county Indiana region (Clay, Parke, Putnam, Sullivan, Vermillion, and Vigo) and the Illinois counties of Clark and Edgar.

Artists must sign the Loan Agreement upon delivery of their work to the gallery. Artists who ship their work must print a copy of the Loan Agreement, sign it and email it back or send it along with their shipped work. Works not sold and retrieved by the artist or artist's proxy should be collected after the closing of the show, after February 6th, 2027, Tuesday - Saturday 10am-5pm or by appointment via email at gallery@artsillianagallery.com. Work not collected within 30 days of the close of the exhibition will become the property of Arts Illiana. Further communication on pick up dates and times will be provided closer to the last day of the exhibition.
