People 2026: Embrace Humanity’s Story Through Art

Gallerium proudly presents People 2026, the 4th annual juried exhibition, publication, and sales opportunity that celebrates the beauty, depth, and diversity of human life through art.

People 2026 is a heartfelt exploration of the human journey from birth and childhood, through youth, midlife, and the golden years. This exhibition invites you to capture the essence of humanity in its infinite expressions—faces that tell stories, emotions that connect souls, and activities that define our shared existence. Let your art become a mirror reflecting the vibrance and complexity of life.

We encourage you to express the richness of the human experience, including but not limited to:

Human Portraits: Unveil the uniqueness of individuals—their character, their emotions, their essence. Use any medium to bring forth lifelike or abstract representations that reveal the soul behind every face.

Daily Life: Find beauty in the everyday moments that shape our lives. Whether in bustling streets, serene rural settings, or quiet home scenes, your art can tell the powerful stories hidden in daily routines.

Emotions: Joy, love, fear, sorrow—emotions define who we are. We invite you to explore and express these feelings, in all their complexity, through abstract or figurative art, creating a deep empathetic bond with your audience.

Activities: Life unfolds in the moments we share, the work we do, and the passions we pursue. Depict people engaged in activities that capture the vibrance and energy of human existence—whether at play, work, or leisure.

Cultural Diversity: Bring to life the vibrancy of traditions, celebrations, and the rich tapestry of cultures that make up humanity. Share the beauty of human customs, ceremonies, and the moments when people come together in unity.

Social Issues: Art has the power to illuminate critical social issues, foster empathy, and inspire change. Use your creativity to shed light on topics like inequality, mental health, migration, and environmental challenges, creating meaningful conversations that matter.

Relationships: Capture the dynamics and emotions of human connections—friendships, romantic bonds, family ties, or even fleeting encounters. Celebrate how we love, support, and grow through our relationships.

Generational Experiences: Explore the journeys and perspectives of different generations. How do traditions, struggles, and hopes change across time, and how do they shape us as individuals and as a collective?

Identity and Self-Expression: Delve into the complex facets of identity—gender, sexuality, beliefs, and personal journeys of self-discovery. Showcase the courage it takes to embrace and express one’s true self.

Historical and Ancestral Narratives: Revisit the stories of the past, honoring those who came before us. Reflect on their legacies and how history shapes our present and future through art.

Celebrations and Milestones: Life is marked by meaningful milestones—birthdays, weddings, graduations, and moments of triumph. Use your art to commemorate these precious points of celebration and transition.

Inner Struggles and Resilience: Depict the quiet battles fought within—the challenges, growth, and resilience that make us human. Share the strength and courage in overcoming adversity.

We warmly welcome all interpretations—whether abstract or representational, and any 2D or 3D art medium.
