“Open theme” means no theme. We want artists to take control, to test what this space can hold. Painters, Illustrators, Printmakers, Sculptors, Video Artists, Installation Artists, Collage/Assemblage Artists, Textile/Fiber Artists, Ceramists/Potters, Photographers, etc.
Nature, humanity, politics, chaos, transcendence—whatever pulls at you—bring it. Let us feel the rigor inside your process: risk, intensity, and the possibility of failure are all part of the atmosphere. But don’t mistake that as exclusionary. We welcome all mediums, all styles, all subject matter. The only rule is: show us you’re open to your muse, not trying to please.
The Lab on Santa Fe sits at ground zero of Colorado’s most visited art scene: Denver’s Art District on Santa Fe. The First Friday Art Walk here pulls the largest crowds in the state, and our gallery is planted in the middle block—the beating heart of the three-block stretch. Maximum exposure. Maximum impact.

Application Requirements
-All art submitted must be for sale.
-Measurements on applications need to be accurate in size.
