Myers Park Methodist 2026

This show is an open show and is neither juried or judged. The Theme is Wonder, Awe & Mystery. All art must be family friendly. Myers Park United Methodist Church staff will make the final selections for acceptance into the exhibit.

Location: Myers Park Methodist Church, 1501 Queens Rd, Charlotte, NC 28207

Submission Dates: August 14 - August 21

Show Dates: September 7-October 28th

Artists Notified: August 26th

Take In: September 3, 9:45 am - 11:45 am

Pick Up: October 29, 9:45am - 11:45am

Maximum size: 36" x 36" including frame.

Commissions for sales during the show is 25% 

*Any work not complying with size limitations will be excluded from the show and the entry fee will not be refunded.

*No SUBSTITUTIONS allowed. Failure to deliver submitted artwork will result in removal from the show and entry fee will not be refunded.

Artwork must be original in concept, composition and execution, and not in any copyright infringement.  

Art must have been completed in the last 3 years, and may not have been previously shown in a Guild show. Any previously shown work submitted to a new show will be excluded from participation and entry fee will not be refunded.

Work done in ANY class and/or under the guidance of an instructor is not eligible for entry. 

All work must be family friendly subjects. Works of subjects deemed unacceptable for the venue will be rejected.   

There shall be a non-refundable entry fee for all shows that will be paid during the submission process for that show. 

Membership in the Guild is required to submit to a show. Membership may be purchased at the time of entry to any show and is on a rolling annual basis. Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
