Business for the Arts Broward (BFA Broward) invites artists to apply for the 8th Annual Art + Stroll, a juried exhibition showcasing original artwork throughout downtown Fort Lauderdale's Las Olas business district. Selected artists will exhibit their work from November 5–12, 2026, culminating in a one-night celebration on Thursday, November 12, featuring juried visual art, live performances, and interactive experiences throughout multiple venues.
A $30 non-refundable application fee supports Business for the Arts Broward's programs and initiatives that benefit artists and the arts community.

Opportunity
Business for the Arts Broward (BFA Broward) invites artists to apply for the 8th Annual Art + Stroll, a juried exhibition celebrating visual art in the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale.
Now in its eighth year, Art + Stroll transforms the Las Olas business district into an unforgettable week-long exhibition culminating in one exciting evening of art, culture, music, and community. Selected artwork will be exhibited for one week in prominent downtown business lobbies before the signature Art + Stroll event on Thursday, November 12, 2026, from 5:30–8:00 PM.
This year's exhibition expands to include Huizenga Park, joining the exhibition spaces at 200 and 201 East Las Olas Boulevard. Visitors will experience juried visual art, live performances, interactive demonstrations, and cultural programming while exploring downtown Fort Lauderdale.
In addition to the in-person exhibition, selected artwork will also be featured digitally on BFA Broward's website, extending artists' visibility beyond the event.

JUDGE INFORMATION
Daniel Listwan, Coral Springs Museum of Art
Daniel Listwan is an experienced museum professional with expertise in exhibition planning, artist relations, collections management, and arts education. Their background in curating exhibitions and working closely with artists and the community provides valuable insight in selecting the winners of this year's Art + Stroll exhibition.
Lisa Rockford, Rockford Projects
Founder of Rockford Projects, Lisa Rockford has curated more than 30 exhibitions featuring over 400 artists in collaboration with museums and cultural institutions. As an Associate Professor at Broward College and an experienced curator, educator, and lecturer, she brings a thoughtful and informed perspective to selecting the winners of this year's Art + Stroll exhibition.

ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS
While a limited number of larger works may be considered, the majority of submitted work should meet this size requirement. Artists wishing to submit oversized work are encouraged to include at least one piece within the 36-inch limit among their three submissions, as exhibition space for larger work is limited.

Business for the Arts Broward reserves the right to reject accepted work that differs substantially from submitted images or fails to meet professional presentation standards.
SALES
All artwork may be offered for sale.
Business for the Arts Broward retains a 25% commission on all sales. Artists receive 75% of the selling price.
BFA will encourage buyers to take purchased artwork home at the conclusion of the exhibition.
If a purchaser is unable to remove artwork at the close of the exhibition, the artist will be responsible for arranging delivery or pickup with the buyer.
Artists are responsible for ensuring that the sale price entered in their CaFE application is accurate. BFA cannot be held responsible for incorrect pricing submitted by the artist.
MARKETING & IMAGE RELEASE
Accepted artwork may be photographed and reproduced for promotional purposes, including:
Artists who do not wish for their accepted artwork to be used in promotional materials must notify Business for the Arts Broward upon receiving their acceptance notification.

RETURN OF ARTWORK
Artists must retrieve artwork immediately following the exhibition at 8:00 PM on Thursday, November 12, 2026, unless the work has been sold.
If immediate pickup is not possible, artists must contact:

Business for the Arts Broward does not have facilities to store artwork for extended periods.
SHIPPING
Shipping is optional.
Artists are responsible for all shipping costs to and from the exhibition.

LIABILITY
Care of Artwork
Business for the Arts Broward, its staff, volunteers, venue partners, and exhibition sites will exercise reasonable care in handling artwork but assume no responsibility for loss or damage.
Artists are strongly encouraged to insure artwork during shipping and exhibition.
BFA's insurance does not cover damage occurring during shipping.
Award Payments
Award checks are mailed separately from returned artwork and may be issued within 30 days following the exhibition.
Artists are responsible for maintaining accurate mailing information in their CaFE account.
Artwork Sales
Artwork will be sold using the price entered in the artist's CaFE application.
Business for the Arts Broward receives a 25% commission, with 75% paid to the artist.
Artists are responsible for any delivery arrangements required if a purchaser cannot remove artwork at the close of the exhibition.
Shipping Responsibility
Artists are responsible for all shipping costs.
Artwork not claimed or provided with return shipping within one (1) month following the exhibition becomes the property of Business for the Arts Broward.

The $30 entry fee covers 3 entries. The minimum image submission requirement is 1 image. You do not have to submit 3 different works, but artists have the option to do so for the $30 fee: one image per submission. If you do not have three works to submit, consider using the additional image slots for detail images. IF ARTWORK IS FRAMED, you must include the finished size with frame, and include a photo of the framed artwork.
