Small Art, Big Impact — National Juried Exhibition

Blaine Art Gallery invites artists to submit their most compelling small-scale artwork for consideration in our Small Art, Big Impact national juried exhibition. Celebrating both 2D and 3D work, this exhibition challenges artists to make a powerful statement within a compact format—2D artwork may be no larger than 16" on its longest side, and 3D artwork no larger than 15" in its longest dimension. With no restrictions on theme or subject, artists are encouraged to explore realistic, abstract, and unexpected approaches while allowing artistry, content, and composition—not sheer scale—to command attention. Challenge the boundaries of scale. Surprise us with innovation. Inspire us with imagination.

If you are out of the area and wish to ship your accepted entry, please ship to: Margaret Owens c/o Blaine Arts Council, 5620 Sanderling Way, Blaine, WA 98230 to be received no later than October 2, 2026.  If you are hand delivering to the Blaine Art Gallery, 922 Peace Portal Drive, Blaine, WA, please arrange deliver October 6th or 7th, 2026, 10am-1pm, or by arrangement with the gallery.

• Opening Reception:  October 10th, 4:00pm - 6:30pm
• Exhibition Dates:  October 10th - November 8th
• Pick Up Dates:  November 9th & 10th, 10:00am – 1:00pm, or by arrangement.

If you can’t drop off your artwork, Shipping costs are your responsibility.  Please include a pre-paid printed return label in the box with your artwork

Please don’t use packing peanuts.

Return Shipping of artwork:  November 14th & 15th.   

2D work must be no longer than 16” on it longest side (including frame).

3D work must be no larger than 15” in height, width or depth.

Artwork submitted must be the same work represented by the submitted digital images.

2D work must be wired (with no wires showing) and no tooth hangers.

All artwork accepted must be for sale.

Blaine Art Gallery reserves the right to reject any work that is not represented accurately in the image or that arrives damaged and does not comply with the entry criteria.

Artists must reside in the US.

Acceptable media includes painting, photography, mixed media, sculpture, printmaking, ceramics, jewelry, fiber arts, and digital art. 

Artwork submitted must not be copied

Ineligible art mediums: Video, Film, Audio, Giclee Prints, or Installations
