Opportunity Summary
ARTcetera 2027 is the Sioux City Art Center’s art auction fundraiser. Every three years we throw a big party to celebrate the art and creativity of our region.
General Information
You have been invited to submit work for ARTcetera 2027, the Sioux City Art Center’s art auction fundraiser. ARTcetera would not be possible without the generosity of artists (like you!) who contribute their work to the event. We are thankful for your support, which helps make the Art Center’s exhibitions and educational programs possible.
Artists will complete a brief online application through CaFÉ and submit images of up to three artworks, along with artwork information and a brief professional biography. We will review the submissions and select the artworks that will be included in the auction.
Artists whose work is selected may choose to receive 50%, 25%, or 0% of the final bid price, with the remaining proceeds supporting the Sioux City Art Center. In appreciation for their participation and generosity, selected artists will receive one (1) complimentary ticket to attend ARTcetera March 19, 2027, 6 - 9 p.m.
The call for entries opens August 25, 2026, and the submission deadline is October 18, 2026. Artists will be notified of selections on November 3, 2026. Selected artworks and completed agreements must be received by the Art Center no later than November 20, 2026.

Application Requirements
ARTcetera 2027 Important Dates
August 25, 2026: ARTcetera 2027 call for entries opens.
October 18, 2026: Submission deadline.
November 3, 2026: Artists notified of selection.
November 20, 2026: Selected artworks + artist agreements must be received by the Sioux City Art Center.
December 31, 2026, 9 p.m. - 1 a.m.: Artworks will be on view during Midnight Mirage NY Eve party.
March 19, 2027, 6 – 9 p.m.: ARTcetera Party!
March 29 – April 29, 2027: Unsold artwork can be picked up at the Art Center during regular business hours [see below].
Eligibility Criteria
Complete the online application through CaFÉ by October 18, 2026.
Submit images of up to three artworks. Provide artist name, artwork title, year, medium or materials, price, and dimensions.
Images should clearly represent the work being considered. Files should be:
3mb, .jpg or .png
