The Floyd Center for the Arts invites artists from across the region to submit work for New Works 2026, a juried exhibition that showcases the bold directions, fresh perspectives, and evolving techniques of today’s regional artists. This exhibition aims to investigate and celebrate the new media, methods, and creative journeys our artists are embracing, whether through experimentation with unfamiliar materials, innovative processes, or fresh interpretations of traditional forms.
By highlighting work created within the past two years, New Works 2026 reflects the vitality of our regional arts community and honors the commitment artists make to push boundaries, take risks, and expand their practice. The exhibition seeks to inspire dialogue between artists and audiences, encouraging exploration of both the familiar and the unexpected in contemporary artmaking.

This is a juried exhibition. The juror for the New Works 2026 Exhibition is currently being finalized and will be announced soon.
Awards
First ($200), Second ($150), and Third ($100) Place awards will be presented, along with a People’s Choice ($50) award.

Call Opens: Friday, July 31, 2026
Deadline to Apply: Friday, August 28th, 2026
Jury Period: August 29th - September 6th, 2026
Notifications Sent: Tuesday, September 8th, 2026
Artwork Delivery Window: Tuesday, September 8th – Wednesday, September 16th, 2026
Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday = 12-5pm
Saturday = 10-5pm
Shipped artwork must arrive by Wednesday, September 16th by 5pm.
Artists must include a prepaid return label. If no return label is provided, a $20 administrative fee will be added to the return shipping cost, and the artist will be invoiced for reimbursement.
Artists delivering large, heavy, or complex works are expected to assist with installation—coordinate time with FCA staff.

Visit www.callforentry.org to submit your images or visit our website to do so. A total of THREE (3) works of art may be submitted per artist. Submitted digital images should represent the skill level and unique voice of each artist’s work. All submitted works must available to be shown at this exhibition; however not all submissions may be accepted into the exhibition. Review and acceptance of the artist field will be performed by a juror, to be announced. Artists will be notified of acceptance by Tuesday, September 8th, 2026.
Entry Details
Fee: $25 non refundable application fee.
Submit up to 3 works that best reflect your skills and unique artistic voice.

Artists are responsible for delivery/shipping and return shipping of their work.
Sales & Commission: A 40% commission on the sale price will be retained by the Floyd Center for the Arts, with 60% paid to the artist via ACH payment.
Open to artists 18+ living within a 150-mile radius of the Floyd Center for the Arts.
All artworks must have been completed within the past two years.
All visual media are welcome.
Video entries must include both the digital file and display equipment, along with clear installation directions.
Artists of 3D works must provide display and/or instructions.
Artwork must be available for the full duration of the exhibition; no substitutions allowed.
