Peninsula Art League 24th National Fine Art Show 2026

Peninsula Art League (PAL) is proud to present the 24th National Fine Art Show (NFAS), our annual juried art exhibition celebrating excellence in two- and three-dimensional art and photo/digital art. With more than 23 years of community presence, strategic partnerships, and public programming this prestigious show has a long-standing tradition of attracting outstanding submissions from talented artists across the country.

PAL invites national, regional, and local artists to submit their work to be juried for exhibition by notable museum curators Jessica Wilks, Tacoma Art Museum and Greg Robinson, Bainbridge Island Museum of Art. They will be awarding cash prizes totaling more than $8,500.

Following the success of last year, the show will once again be held at the award-winning Gig Harbor Vintage Aero Museum from November 14th, 2026, through December 2nd, 2026. The Museum is a unique and well-designed space and welcoming venue for artists and art lovers alike.

The Museum is a unique and well-designed venue, founded by Bill Juranich and Bob & Marilyn Juranich, and serves as a vibrant gathering space showcasing amazing vintage aircraft, and now, with their partnership with the Peninsula Art League, a welcoming venue for artists and art lovers alike. 

ABOUT THE JURORS
Jessica Wilks, Director of Curatorial and Interpretation, Tacoma Art Museum
Wilks serves as the Director of Curatorial at Tacoma Art Museum and brings more than 20 years of museum experience to the role. She leads the curatorial team and guides the development of exhibitions, acquisitions, and long-term collection strategy. Her work centers on advancing Tacoma Art Museum’s commitment to the art and artists of the Pacific Northwest and the broader western region.

Greg Robinson, Chief Curator, Bainbridge Island Art Museum
Robinson’s remarkable journey into the arts began with curating one of the largest hospital art collections in the U.S. From leading the Pratt Fine Arts Center to directing the Museum of Northwest Art, Greg’s impact is profound. Now at BIMA, he’s a master of unearthing talent and showcasing diverse, compelling work. Greg’s career highlights include serving on the Betty Bowen Award Committee and authoring books on Puget Sound artists.

• Jurors to select artwork from online submissions by October 27, 2026.

• All 2D art must be sturdily framed and ready to hang including D-rings (no saw-tooth hangers) and hanging wire.
• The hanging wire should be positioned approximately 1/3 of the way down from the top and be taut so the 2-D works remain flush with the wall. Larger and heavier pieces of art should use appropriately sized “D” rings with sturdy wire. No wire should extend above the top of the piece.
• Gallery wrapped canvas does not require framing but must be wired to hang.
• 3D art can be displayed as on the floor for full size work. Pedestals for smaller work can hold a maximum of 20” wide x 25” tall work.

• Artists must be 18 years or over.
• All entries must be original works of art, entirely the work of the entrant, created within the last two years. Entries include 2-D, 3-D, and photography.
• All entries must be for sale. A 15% commission will be charged on all sales.
• Works produced in classes, workshops or under supervision are not eligible.
• Hand-pulled prints from intaglio, woodblock or serigraph are acceptable.
• Art with depictions of nudes, religious symbols, political themes or extreme violence will not be considered.
• The creative vision, skill and execution of the artwork must originate with the artist. AI (Artificial Intelligence) tools may be used in a supporting capacity – for photo editing, refinement, or minor enhancements – but may not generate the artwork itself.
