Juried Photography Show call for photos - no theme, no subject, just your best photo.

The Juried Photography Show, presented by the Long Island Arts Council at Freeport, is one of the tri-state area’s longest-running and most prestigious photography exhibitions.  Each November, thousands of visitors enjoy outstanding work from talented photographers across the region. The show features a juried competition with cash awards and certificates, a month-long exhibition at the Freeport Memorial Library, and a reception honoring the artists, sponsors and community supporters who make it possible.  It’s a celebration of creativity, vision, and the power of photography.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

1.        If your photograph was displayed in a previous LIACF Juried Photography Show, it is not eligible to be resubmitted.

2.        Submissions in JPEG format, 1800 pixels; longest side at 72 ppi

3.        Accepted works minimum frame size: 11 x 14. Maximum frame in either direction is 30 inches. (Exception: Panoramas)

4.        If accepted, photographer’s name, email, phone number and social media handles must be on the back.

5.        Photographers affiliated with LIACF or Freeport Memorial board members are ineligible to participate.

Age 21 and over.
