Umlauf Sculpture Exhibition 2026

Sculpture Exhibition sponsored by the Umlauf Sculpture Garden & Museum and coordinated by Texas Society of Sculptors on Austin Museum Day, Sunday September 20, 2026.  

The Austin Museum Partnership has coordinated Austin Museum Day, a community event with free admission and with special programs and activities at museums and cultural institutions across the area.  Museum Day is a popular and well attended family event in Austin. The Umlauf is a museum and beautiful outdoor sculpture garden, located in central Austin, exhibiting numerous artistic work of American sculptor Charles Umlauf.

Texas Society of Sculptors has participated in exhibiting at the Umlauf on Museum Day for over 20 years and expects more than 1,500 visitors at the Umlauf between 11:00am and 4:00pm on Sunday September 20, 2026

Sculptors can exhibit their work in an individual display space 8’ wide by 4’ deep, under a covered outdoor terrace at the front entrance of the museum or dedicated locations in the sculpture garden.

Cash prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places as selected by our invited judge.

There are spaces for up to 15 artists so space is limited.

Submission via CaFE, Umlauf Sculpture Exhibition 2026.  Submit up to 3 images of sculptures representing artist’s work, and complete additional information requested in the call to entries.  Sculpture images submitted to CaFE are examples representing artist’s work for application purposes only.  However, any approved sculptures can be exhibited at the Umlauf (it is a family event).

Application Fee $30

Members of Texas Society of Sculptors and sculptors who agree to become members prior to September 1, 2026.  Artists must be aged 18 or older, US residents living and working in the USA.  More information about why and how to join TSOS at: www.tsos.org
