Submit to our Fall Members' Exhibition, The Big Works Show, at the Main Line Art Center in Haverford

Experience the power of art on a grand scale in The Big Works Show. Our juried exhibition brings together exceptional works that provoke thought, encourage dialogue, and inspire curiosity.

Members of Artists Equity may submit up to 2 pieces for the juror's consideration.

JUROR PRIZES: First ($300), Second ($200), Third ($100), Three Honorable Mentions (good for a one-year AE membership valued at $60).

ARTWORK DELIVERY--->UPDATED INFO: Due to renovations at the MLAC, they requested we reschedule delivery. NEW DATE: Tuesday, September 8th, 11 am - 2 pm. Hand delivery only - no mail or FedEx/UPS will be accepted. MLAC is at 746 Panmure Rd, Haverford, PA 19041.
ARTISTS' RECEPTION: Thursday, September 10th, 5:30 - 7:30 pm. Refreshments with live music. Please promote the reception among your contacts/social media.

PICKUP OF UNSOLD ARTWORK: Monday, October 26th, 11 am - 2 pm.

This Is Crucial: Unsold work must be picked up. If there’s a chance you won’t be available, then please find a trusted acquaintance. Work cannot be left after 2 pm on October 26th. If you believe that you might not be able to retrieve your work, then you shouldn’t apply to our show.

2D and 3D work in any medium of original artwork will be accepted.

For 2D: The width must be between 30” and 48” including the frame. The height must be between 30” and 72” including the frame. Do not submit work that has been exhibited in an Artists Equity show within the past four (4) years.

Diptychs and triptychs must be photographed together and submitted as one piece.

Artists must provide clear hanging instructions for all multi-panel works.

All 2D work must be properly wired and ready to hang with finished edges - either gallery wrapped or framed. No sawtooth hangers, please. Weight cannot exceed 20 lbs.

Labels must accompany all accepted artwork, be securely attached to the front, and ALSO stapled to the wire in the back. Include the Artist’s Name, Title, Medium, & Price. Not For Sale (NFS) is acceptable.

3D / Pedestal Work

Maximum size: 12 inches wide × 12 inches deep × 36 inches high.

Work must be light enough to be safely installed by one person.

Any artwork not properly prepared will be turned away.

MLAC and AE reserves final authority over which works are included in the exhibition.

The Main Line Art Center and Artists Equity will take NO commission.

Cost to apply to the show for Members - Free.
Non-Members who wish to apply to the show should join now AND THEN upload their images.

VERY IMPORTANT: You must be a member of Artists Equity for your work to be considered by the juror. Being a member of the Main Line Art Center DOES NOT count for membership in Artists Equity. If you’re not a member of AE, your work is not eligible to be shown. No Exceptions!
