FREE-FOR-ALL

FREE-FOR-ALL means exactly what it sounds like. This national call for art is a true Free-For-All. As we approach the 4-year anniversary of The Lab on Santa Fe, located in the heart of Colorado’s most popular art district, one lesson has become abundantly clear: creativity thrives when limitations disappear.

We welcome work from every corner of the artistic spectrum—abstract, figurative, representational, surrealist, absurdist, political, environmental, spiritual, conceptual, narrative, and photographic. We want to see bold experiments, personal stories, observations of the world, and unexpected ideas. Whether your work explores identity, culture, memory, nature, humor, beauty, or the unknown, this is an opportunity to share it with thousands of attendees during the First Friday Art Walk or when the biggest buyers make their way over on Saturdays and Sundays.

As we approach the 4-year anniversary of The Lab on Santa Fe, located in the heart of Colorado’s most popular art district, one lesson has become abundantly clear: creativity thrives when limitations disappear.

As one of the busiest galleries in the district during First Friday and throughout the weekend, The Lab provides a setting where a wide range of artistic voices can be encountered by both casual visitors and dedicated collectors.

We welcome work from every corner of the artistic spectrum—abstract, figurative, representational, surrealist, absurdist, political, environmental, spiritual, conceptual, narrative, and photographic. We want to see bold experiments, personal stories, observations of the world, and unexpected ideas. Whether your work explores identity, culture, memory, nature, humor, beauty, or the unknown, this is an opportunity to share it with a diverse audience and become part of an exhibition that celebrates creative freedom in all its forms.

There is no theme, no preferred style, and no prescribed subject matter. We are not looking for work that fits a particular mold. We are looking for work that feels genuine, ambitious, curious, and alive. Surprise us. Challenge us. Make us laugh, think, question, or see something in a new way.

FREE-FOR-ALL is a celebration of the limitless possibilities that emerge when artists are given room to follow their instincts. Wherever your creative practice takes you, we invite you to bring it through our doors.
