2026 Full Bleed

This exhibition seeks to highlight artists and artwork styles at the fringes of the canon. What new visions and new inspirations can you express through the lenses of the popular styles of graffiti, urban art, anime and manga.

Our aim is to create the space for emerging artists to exhibit alongside established artists, to support budding artistic careers and to build relationships with artists across generations and genres.

Open to all Hawaiʻi based 2D and 3D artists in the genre of anime, manga, urban art and graffiti.

Benny Anthony

Juror Bio
Born and raised in Hilo, Hawaii, Benny moved to Honolulu for college in 2004.  Long bus rides from Kāʻaʻawa to town exposed him to the very active graffiti and street art scene that was happening at that time.  What started as casual photo documentation of stickers and tags, quickly evolved into obsessive research using internet message boards, photo-sharing platforms, documentary films, and library resources to educate himself on Hawaii graffiti, and the global writing culture. Today, he continues to document and study Hawaiʻi’s graffiti and street art scene as a fan and enthusiast.

Juror Statement
In my time spent documenting graffiti I’ve developed an appreciation for what I understand to be traditional styles.  For me that’s graffiti that prioritizes letters and the fundamentals over everything else.  As a juror I’m excited for any and all works done by young artists who have fun making things and are willing to share it with the community.
