General Information
The City of Oneonta is seeking applicants to paint a big, colorful, exciting mural as part of our newly established Transit Hub. We are open to all styles. The project is on an approximate 3,200 sq ft segment of a retaining wall behind the hub. The mural should be completed within the 2026 calendar year.
This is a call for qualifications only. Selected artists will be awarded $200 towards a project proposal.
Application Requirements
Applicants must provide a minimum of 10 samples of their work in either photographs or videos, as well as three references who have either hired or worked closely with them in recent years. The exterior wall will be finished with a Sika Thorocoat 400 facade coating.
Eligibility Criteria
Experience with large scale murals is a MUST. New York State residency is a plus, but not a requirement.
