Art at the Avenue 2026

The South Cobb Arts Alliance (SCAA) is pleased to announce the 2026 Art at the Avenue, a national published juried invitation since 1987 to artists for its annual Juried Exhibition featuring all types of genre, medium, style, and technique in arts to be held at The Avenue West Cobb, Marietta, Georgia and open to the public beginning July 18 until August 8, 2026.  

The Venue: The Avenue West Cobb is an open-air lifestyle shopping center in Marietta, located at 3625 Dallas Highway, Marietta, GA 30064 featuring unique mix of retailer and restaurants and with an estimated annual foot traffic of 2.5-3 million. The Suite 830 venue is a large open space with smaller rooms to accommodate a artisan market and interactive community events.

Events: Events within the Juried Exhibit will include the annual SCAA Middle-High School Juried Art Exhibit competition, music, performing arts, community events, art demonstrations, children’s reading circle and art activities or special events.

Artisan Market: As a participant of this exhibit, you have the opportunity to sell additional artwork at the Artisan Market at the Art at the Avenue. To allow visitors to have additional opportunities to purchase art, SCAA will have a market area. All invited artists can bring in prints, cards, or smaller items to be placed in the separate gift area with items to be sold during the exhibit dates. 

Juror and Judge - Will be announced with the acceptance notification.

Exhibit Reception: Saturday, July 18, 2026 from 5-7pm. 

Awards: Awards will be given at the discretion of, and as designated by, the juror; the juror’s decision is final. Awards will include $500 for 1st Prize, $300 for 2nd Prize and $150 for 3rd Prize. Notifications: Email notifications will be sent on or before June 21, 2026 to indicate whether your work is invited into the exhibit or not. The notification will, also, include details as to location and dates/times for delivery and pickup.

Please note before you begin your registration that:

• Artwork must be original with any references to be from the artist’s owned materials or with permission granted from the photographer.  No artwork submitted shall be produced in a class or by AI.
• No video work will accepted.
• Artwork in this juried invitation must be delivered in person for this exhibit.  No shipments will be accepted.
• Artwork must be for sale. Sale price will include 25% commission, so please price your work accordingly. No pricing will be adjusted after submission.
• The nonrefundable entry fee is $45 for 1 to 4 entries.

Entry requirements

• For image submission requirements, please follow Café guidelines.
• Art work must not have been included in the 2022-2025 NJE exhibits.
• SCAA The Avenue Exhibit-All work must be original and owned by the artist.
• Artwork must be wired and ready to hang - NO saw tooth hangers, adhesive hooks or such hanging devices are acceptable and may disqualify the art from installation and entry.
• Artwork should not exceed 60 inches in either direction. If artwork consists of more than one piece, then the total of the entire work should not exceed 60 inches in either direction.
• Free standing 3-d art work must fit through a retail front door - 40x60 inches.
• If work needs installation, the artist must provide all necessary components and tools.
• Artwork will remain in the gallery until the end of the exhibit unless it's sold.
• Accepted artwork must be delivered on the delivery dates/time/location, which will be included in the acceptance email, to be included in the exhibit.
• SCAA reserves the right to use any image for publicity purposes. The copyright remains with the photographer.
• No changes to submissions - title, price, etc. - will be accepted after submission is complete.
• All work must be for sale and should include SCAA commission of 25%. So please price your work accordingly. No NFS artwork will be accepted.
• Invited work must be labeled with: Artist's name, Title of artwork, Price, Telephone, email.

Open to all residents of the USA 18 and older.
