Kingdom Animalia 2026: Exhibit the Realms of Fur, Feather, and Fantasy

What connects us all, across cultures and centuries, is our profound relationship with animals. Whether wild or tame, real or fantastical, they inhabit our stories, memories, dreams, and homes. In their gaze, we find loyalty, wildness, mystery, power, and vulnerability. Kingdom Animalia 2026 invites artists around the world to capture the spirit, form, and soul of animals in all their expressive beauty.

Now in its 5th annual edition, this international juried opportunity by Exhibizone has become a beloved tradition, celebrating the majesty of the animal world through powerful artistic storytelling, while also offering artists valuable opportunities for global visibility, promotion, publication, and sales.

🐾 Themes to Explore

Let your imagination run free, whether you’re portraying a lion’s strength, a hummingbird’s grace, or a mythical creature’s spark of wonder. This year, we are especially excited to receive work across the following themes:

Animals of the Natural World: Celebrate mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, insects, marine life, and all living beings who share our planet—captured in portraits, behaviors, habitats, or symbolic roles.

Fantasy and Mythical Creatures: Think beyond reality. Explore dragons, phoenixes, unicorns, griffins, shapeshifters, mermaids, or futuristic animal-machine hybrids—embodying imagination, power, and mythology.

Endangered and Extinct: Pay homage to vanished species or raise your voice for those at risk. Shine light on biodiversity loss, climate impacts, and humanity’s role in preservation—or destruction.

Animal Rights and Ethics: Confront injustice. Through your art, give voice to voiceless animals facing cruelty, captivity, exploitation, or neglect. Highlight advocacy, hope, and empathy.

Sacred Beasts and Totems: Explore animals as symbols of spirituality, guidance, and sacred power in Indigenous cultures, ancient rituals, and personal mythologies.

Dream Animals and Inner Beasts: Dive into surrealism and introspection. Reveal how animals appear in our subconscious—as protectors, fears, desires, or memories.

Urban Wildlife and Human Coexistence: Capture the lives of animals navigating the built environment—strays, pets, scavengers, birds in cities, or wild creatures adapting to human presence.

Abstract Expressions of Animalia: Move beyond form and realism to express the essence of animal life through abstract shapes, color, texture, and motion. Explore emotional, symbolic, or conceptual interpretations that evoke the spirit, energy, and mystery of the animal world.

Why Selection Fee?

Submission to this art opportunity is free of charge, and we only ask the selected artists to pay a small fixed fee to proceed.

This decision was made in good faith because we wanted artists to only pay when selected. We have a thorough jury process as our art opportunities are popular and have a low acceptance rate.
