• Exhibition dates: October 2 - November 1, 2026
• Deadline for entries: September 11, 2026
• Juror’s Notification emailed the week of: September  21, 2026
• Artists Reception: October 10, 2026 3:00 - 5:00
• Drop off accepted works dates: September 29 - 30, 2026
  • 10:00 - 4:00
• Shipped works must arrive by: September 29, 2026 (Shipping is at the cost of the artist; return shipping label must be included)
• Pick up dates after the close of the exhibit: 
  • November 2 - 3, 2026, 10:00 -4:00 (unsold shipped work will be shipped back to the artist at this time using artist provided prepaid shipping label)
• The gallery admission is free and open to the public, and handicap accessible.

Ceramics Juror: Tony Clennell, a second-generation Canadian potter has taught workshops in Canada, the US, Japan, China, Korea, Wales, Italy and Portugal. He has an MFA from Utah State University and is a member of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts. Tony has exhibited in museums and collections in North America, Europe and Asia.
Plein Air Juror: Kimberly Yourick, founder and manager of Lockhouse Gallery in Brunswick, Maryland, Kimberly received her BFA in metalsmithing from the Washington University Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts in St. Louis. In addition to metalwork, she is an accomplished oil painter specializing in plein air landscapes. She is represented by Nepenthe Gallery.

• All entries must be completed online by 11:59 EST on September 11, 2026, through CaFÈ. You will need to set up a free account at callforentry.org
• A nonrefundable $35 entry fee is required at the time of application.
• All artwork must be for sale.
• All 2-dimensional works must be properly framed, and a wire for hanging must be attached securely to the back. Absolutely no sawtooth hangers. We encourage you to frame your work simply.
• ARTWORK IDENTIFICATION
  All accepted work must have a label SECURELY attached to the back (2D) or base (3D) of the artwork, with the following information:
  - Artist Name / Title of Art / Price
• Please make sure that your prices are correct in your CaFE portfolio. We will not accept price changes once a piece is entered for application to this exhibit.
• You must submit a high-resolution image (300 dpi) for the jury process. AF will use submitted images of accepted works for concurrent online exhibit, documentation, and promotional materials for this exhibit.
• Shipping materials will be kept for returning work. Only boxes, crates, and bins with proper labels, including the artist’s contact information and the name of the piece, will be kept for repackaging. Boxes and such may include paper & wraps. NO PACKING PEANUTS PLEASE
• Works left at AF more than 30 days past the pick-up dates (November 3, 2026) become the property of Artspiration Frederick, and will no longer be stored, and written proof of charitable contribution will be issued for its stated value. Open to visual artists 18 years and older residing in the continental US..
• Artists may submit up to 3 works.

All media accepted (2D, 3D, ceramics, sculpture, photography, mixed media, etc.)

Work must be exhibition-ready

All artwork must be for sale.
