Private | Public: Artist Call Description
Consider the porous line between interior and exterior life: the body and the street, the home and the institution, the personal archive and the public record. We’re interested in work that sits in tension between intimacy and exposure, safety and visibility, consent and capture, self-authorship and the gaze. This theme is intentionally open: it can be quiet, tender, humorous, confrontational, or unresolved.
We welcome submissions across mediums, including (but not limited to) painting, drawing, photography, print, sculpture, textiles, video, sound, installation, performance documentation, and mixed media.
