About the Curtis Center for the Arts
Originally built as a one-room schoolhouse in 1914, the historic red-brick building now serves as the Curtis Center for the Arts. The school opened in 1901 without electricity or running water, on land donated by Mary J. Curtis. In 1991, the building was dedicated as the Curtis Arts & Humanities Center. Today, the Curtis Center is owned and operated by the City of Greenwood Village and continues to serve the community through visual art exhibitions, classes, lectures, and special events.
Submission Criteria
Submitted artwork must be original work by the artist, completed within the last two years, and not previously exhibited at the Curtis Center for the Arts.
Please note:
Only submit images of the one or two works you wish to have considered. The six-image limit is intended to allow artists to show multiple views and details of their submitted work. Images representing additional, separate works will be removed by staff.
Open to any artists residing in Colorado.
