Art sparks dialogue from the gallery to the taproom. Craft Alliance and Alpha Brewing Co. have partnered to transform this social space into a "crossroads" for creative voices. By pairing St. Louis talent with national perspectives, we celebrate the bridge between professional craft and urban culture.
Housed in a repurposed textile mill, Alpha Brewing blends owner Derrick Langeneckert’s scientific background with the "Maker" spirit. This industrial setting, built on sustainability and reclaimed materials, serves as the perfect backdrop for contemporary art.
The Partners

Alpha Brewing Co: A south-side anchor dedicated to innovation and the perfect pour.
Call to Artists Join our visual narrative. We invite creators from near and far to showcase their work in this iconic industrial setting. Share your voice where the best conversations happen over a drink.
Art has the power to spark dialogue anywhere—from the gallery floor to the taproom wall. At Alpha Brewing Company, we believe the best conversations happen over a drink. To expand that dialogue, Craft Alliance is proud to curate an ongoing exhibition series that transforms Alpha's walls into a meeting place for creative voices.
We are building a "crossroads" of perspectives, featuring a blend of local St. Louis talent alongside visiting artists from across the national stage. This exhibition brings a gallery-level experience into a social space, juxtaposing regional styles with outside influences to create a rich visual dialogue. By showcasing how creators from different backgrounds interpret shared themes, we aim to prove that while we may come from different places, great art and great beer are universal languages.
Anchored in a repurposed textile mill on Morganford, Alpha Brewing Company is the southern pillar of the Tower Grove South food and beverage scene. Owner Derrick Langeneckert has translated his background in science into a standout success, specializing in innovative sours and barrel-aged styles.
The space itself is a testament to the "Maker" spirit, defined by sustainable upgrades, reclaimed wood, and industrial iron. Derrick’s commitment to this aesthetic extends from his efficient business practices to his curated appreciation for visual art. By partnering with Craft Alliance, Alpha continues to champion an environment where scientific efficiency and artistic expression intersect.
