Membership Medley 2026 - 60th Anniversary Edition

Blue Line Arts invites all members to participate in our 60th Anniversary edition of our annual Membership Medley exhibition, celebrating the diverse and vibrant creative community that has supported our gallery for the last 60 years! Whether you’re new to creating or have been part of our journey since the beginning, we want to showcase your work. This exhibition has no theme or subject matter requirements—simply share what you love to create, regardless of medium or experience level.

Blue Line Arts is excited to invite all current members to participate in our 60th Anniversary edition of our annual Membership Medley exhibition, a celebration of the diverse and vibrant creative community that has supported our gallery for the last 60 years! Whether you're just starting your artistic journey or have been with us since the early days at the Haman House 60 years ago, we want to showcase your creativity.

Every Artist level member is guaranteed to have one work of art displayed in the show. Artist members are welcome to submit up to three works, with one selected from each artist to be featured in the exhibition.

There are no theme or subject matter requirements—simply share what you love to create. This exhibition welcomes all mediums, from painting and sculpture to photography and mixed media. We invite submissions from all members, including those who may not traditionally identify as "artists." If you create something that brings you joy, we want to celebrate it.

The Membership Medley is historically one of Blue Line Arts' most attended exhibitions of the year. And this year, as we celebrate our 60th Anniversary as an organization, we especially want to celebrate the artists that keep us alive and thirving!

It’s a fantastic opportunity to connect with a wide range of art enthusiasts and fellow creators. 

Your participation has kept our gallery a free, public space for learning, connection, and creative growth for the last 60 years, and will continue to do so for many more to come!

Important Dates 

Submission Deadline: April 24th, 2026

Show dates: June 27th to August 8th, 2026

Notifications: Results will be sent by 5pm PST on May 15th, 2026

Shipping Deadline: June 5th, 2026 (The last day artwork should be dropped off with shipping carrier)

Hand deliver work to Blue Line Arts: June 21st and 22nd from 10am-3pm

Opening Reception: Saturday July 18th from 5-7pm

Pick up any unsold work from Blue Line Arts: August 9th and 10th from 10am-3pm

Shipping/Delivery Information

All shipped work will be shipped back in within 2 weeks of the show's closing date. 

The artist is responsible for paying for all shipping and should have a prepaid label from FedEx or UPS (No US Mail) for the return of artwork.

Artwork that is shipped may be picked up, however artwork that is dropped off MUST be picked up by hand.

$75 Application fee for Non-Members will include a complimentary Artist Level Membership ($75 Value).  

Submission Materials

• Minimum of 2 images and maximum of 3 are to be submitted. Every artist is guaranteed 1 image in the show.
• Artist Statement (2000 characters max) This is a great way for the community to get to know our artist members and an even better chance for you to promote your work!

Image Specifications

• Between 1mb and 3mb in size
• Minimum of 1200 px on one side
• Images must be in JPG format
• Name your JPGs as follows: Artist Name-Artwork Title.jpg

• Open to artists in the United States to apply
• All artwork must be original and completed within the last two years
• Artwork cannot have been previously exhibited at Blue Line Arts
• All wall hung artworks must be ready to hang with appropriate hardware. All frames and canvases must have a wire installed prior to delivery.
• All artwork must be for sale
• Accepted artwork that differs significantly from image in online submission will be disqualified
• No accepted entry may be withdrawn or sold outside of the exhibition prior to the closing date once artwork has been accepted.
• Blue Line Arts handles all sales transactions. All Artist Members will receive a 60% commission on any sold work.

Size Limitations

• ARTWORKS MUST BE 36" WIDE OR LESS
• Nothing over 60 lbs will be accepted
