Call for online exhibition proposals | Solo online show on Artsy

Red Springs Artspace invites US-based artists to submit proposals for a solo online exclusive show on Artsy, one of the largest online marketplaces for discovering and buying fine art. Invited artists will have the opportunity to present their work to a global audience for the duration of one month.

“Expanding into the World” is an online showcase that will feature one artist each month. We invite creators from the U.S. to participate through a year-long open call for submissions. Over the course of the year, twelve artists will present their work to a global audience, each for one month.

Proposal submissions must include:

• 8-10 jpgs that best represent your works
• A suggested title of your show, third-person bio, a first-person statement, a link to your website and/or social media where it will possible to see your body of work.

Important Dates:

• Proposal submissions due: By the 10th of the month
• Notification of Acceptance: On the 20th of the month
• Online Exhibition Dates: The 1st through the last day of the month

The selected artworks will be in a Solo Online Exclusive Show on Artsy (https://www.artsy.net/partner/red-springs-artspace), where they will be displayed to art lovers all over the world and available for purchase. 

Proposal Submission Guidelines:

• Suggested title of your solo show
• Third-person bio
• Artist statement
• Website URL
• Social media handles
• High quality jpgs of up to 10 works that accurately represent the medium and style of the submitted pieces. All submitted works need to be shipping-ready.

Include the following information for each work:

• Title
• Year
• Price (please note that there will be an additional 20% Artsy charge added to your price)
• Medium (painting, drawing, collage, print, photography, sculpture)
• Materials (e.g., oil on canvas, charcoal on paper, etc.)
• Classification (unique, limited edition, or open edition)
• Measurements
• Weight
• If the work is framed, please provide frame measurements and its approximate weight
• Shipping origin address (required to calculate shipping costs)

Artwork requirements:

• All entries must be for sale.
• Each artwork must be an original work created by the submitting artist.
• The artist must be ready to ship a sold work to a buyer within three days from the sale date.

Open to all artists 18 years of age and older residing in the USA. (The latter criterion is due to considerations involved with shipping.)
