Mesa Community College LEGACY IN MOTION Alumni Exhibition

Mesa Community College is celebrating 60 years with an alumni exhibition showcasing current artwork (made within the past five years) by former students, faculty, and staff who are currently active in their creative endeavors.  The exhibition will open on October 23, 2025 with a public reception from 5-6 pm and will run through December 11, 2025.

The exhibition will open on October 23, 2025 with a public reception from 5-6 pm and will run through December 11, 2025.

Artists who have attended, taught, or worked at MCC from 1965 to 2024 are encouraged to submit images of artwork for consideration.  A jury panel will select works invited for display in the alumni exhibition.(Current students, faculty and staff are not eligible for this show).

Timeline:

Submission deadline: Sunday, October 5, 2025

Notifications of invited artwork sent via email: Wednesday, October 8, 2025

Delivery dates: Friday October 10 (9-5), Monday October 13, (9-5), Tuesday October 14 (9-5), Wednesday October 15, (9-5) or by appointment.  All arrangements outside of these hours must be scheduled by emailing gallery at tracey.blocker@mesacc.edu

Pick up date: Friday, December 12, 2025.  (9-5)

Applicants must agree to deliver or ship invited work to MCC Art Gallery by 5 pm on October 15, 2025 or participation may be forfeited.  

All 2D works must be ready to hang with wire or hanging hardware. Pedestals will be provided for 3D works smaller than 24".  Larger 3D work will be displayed on a space available basis.  Digital works including animation are encouraged and will be displayed on a mounted iPad.  Commercial artwork will be considered in addition to works of fine art.
