SAGE Community Arts 15th Annual National Juried Show

All artists residing in the United States are invited to enter the 15th Annual National Juried Show. The Juror is Lisa Norman. The juror will consider all media except photography. This exhibition will have no theme; artists are invited to submit their best work! Fees: $15 for SAGE Members (for the first artwork entered), $25 for Non-Members (for the first artwork entered, and $5 for each additional artwork entered, up to 10 artworks total. The entry deadline is 11:59 pm on Monday, June 15th—exhibition dates: July 22 - August 23, 2025.

All work must be original, created within the past five years, and cannot have been included in a prior SAGE Juried Show. 
Artwork that has been accepted into previous SAGE juried shows will NOT be accepted again. However, artists may re-submit artwork that was not selected previously.

All mediums EXCEPT PHOTOGRAPHY will be accepted. 

All artwork must be FOR SALE

Accepted artwork must be exhibit-ready with a proper wire-hanging mechanism attached (no saw-tooth hangers or clip-on frames will be accepted).

For 3-D work, SAGE will provide pedestals. The artist will need to provide proper display hardware/stands for any sculpture work that cannot fit on a pedestal (the maximum dimension of a SAGE pedestal is 22in. by 16in).

Both stages of jurying for this show will be done blindly (jurors will not see any names or titles, only the images or in-person pieces). The First Stage will be judged online by submitted images and will determine who will be selected to show in the Exhibition (33-40 artworks). The second stage of Judging will determine the place rankings. Works to be included in the show will be chosen no later than Friday, June 10th. If your work is chosen, you will be notified via email. Do not drop off or ship any work to SAGE until you have been notified of your acceptance into the show.

The awards will be announced at the Awards Reception on Thursday, July 31st, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. If possible, all artists are encouraged to attend. Lodging can be arranged for those wishing to attend in person.

JUROR | Lisa Norman of Buffalo, WY

Lisa Norman is a native of Buffalo, WY. She completed a degree in Visual Communications from the Colorado Institute of Art and was pointed towards studying medical illustration when she met and married her late husband. Her life journey has included the joys of experiencing ranch life as a cowboy’s wife in TX, NE, SD and back to WY.

Along the way her business, Images West Studio, documented their life and the livestock they cared for in every manner possible, from photographs taken horseback to sketches from the inside of a range tepee. Along with assignment shooting for western magazines, and a busy design career, she also published an award winning coffee table book on the historic Haythorn Ranch after their 15 years of employment there, and continues to use the rich reference material gathered along the way to feed her creativity at the easel.

Her work has been shown in galleries and private collections across the U.S. and abroad. She also markets her own originals, limited edition prints, notecards, and boutique items. She has rendered large scale mural paintings for both commercial and residential clients in several different states and Canada. Her original fine art gallery pieces are rendered in oil, watercolor, conte and charcoal.
 

Lisa’s work continues to focus on whatever brings a bit of joy and inspiration into her life, and hopefully the lives of those who view her work. The Big Horn Mountains and wide-open spaces of Buffalo, WY continue to inspire her creativity and her insatiable love of the west.

THE FINE PRINT

At its sole discretion, SAGE has the final say in accepting or declining artwork for exhibition. 

PLEASE NOTE:  Once you finalize your CaFÉ application and click "Submit Payment," your application cannot be edited in any way. Please ensure all intended artwork has been uploaded and selected and that all artwork information is correct. 

Eligibility: Original work (no reproductions, no photomechanical prints). Both 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional works are eligible, except photography. The maximum width of 2-dimensional art cannot exceed 36 inches. The maximum width or length of free-standing 3-dimensional art cannot exceed 36 inches. Open to all artists living in the United States.
