The annual Butchertown Art Fair is held the first weekend in June and is located in one of the oldest neighborhoods of Louisville, set against the backdrop of historic homes and a canopy of trees.
The Butchertown Art Fair has a unique style with its casual atmosphere and eclectic crowd. You'll find beautiful and interesting works of art, locally acclaimed food vendors, live music, and a variety of local spirits, beer and wine.
We focus on accommodating the artist’s needs. Historically, the overwhelming consensus from participating artists and vendors is that our art fair is a fun and successful event. We hope you apply!

Application Requirements
1. All items for sale must be original and hand crafted by the artist. Hand decorated items will be considered.
2. The artist must be present for the entirety of the Art Fair. No artist brokers or collectives will be accepted. Artist booth sitters and assistants are permitted as long as the artist is present for the entirety of the Art Fair.3. Only one artist/business and one medium are allowed per booth. Artists may apply for more than one booth.
4. All participants are expected to be set up on time and remain throughout the show and show hours. In case of severe weather, the show might be canceled or closed early in which case no refunds will be given.
5. Electricity, tables, chairs, and running water will not be provided. Parking is available on neighborhood streets.
6. All applicants must have a signed waiver for each person working in their booth.
7. The Butchertown Art Fair Committee reserves the right to ask any vendor to leave the premises if these rules are not followed or for any reason deemed necessary by the Committee. No refunds will be given.

Processing fee $30 non-refundable
Booth fee $200 ($125 for Butchertown residents)
This is an outdoor event. Check-in begins at 8am Saturday and tear down will start no sooner than 5pm on Sunday. Those wishing to set up Friday evening can do so.
The booth fee covers a generous 10’ X 10’ space with lots of space between booths (approximately a 3' space between booths). We highly encourage using a tent. If using a tent, please make sure you bring supplies to weight your tent in case of severe weather.
Security will be provided overnight on both Friday and Saturday evenings. However, it is recommended that you remove valuables from your area before leaving for the night.
We do NOT enforce a "No Dogs" policy at the Art Fair. You may request a "No Dogs" sign for your booth and we will provide one for you. Please make this request in the "special requests" section of your application.
