The National Cornbread Festival (NCF) has celebrated over 25 years of festivals! The Festival is held in downtown South Pittsburg, Tennessee, a historic town nestled between the Cumberland Plateau and the Tennessee River in the beautiful Sequatchie Valley. South Pittsburg is located just two miles south of I-24, 30 miles west of Chattanooga.
The Festival will begin Friday evening, April 23rd and end Sunday evening, April 25th. You must be available to unload/set up on Friday during your designated time. This application is only for arts and crafts items that DO NOT include food prepared on-site. If you would like to apply to be a food vendor, please reach out to the National Cornbread Festival Concessions Committee by calling 423-837-8378.
The Festival will host a cornbread cook-off, entertainment, food, arts, crafts, and a carnival. The festivities will begin Friday night with a street dance and, sometimes, fireworks. Food vendors will be open. Arts and Crafts vendors may also be open if they wish.
The week preceding the festival, a professional Carnival comes to town!

The Festival volunteers and sponsors generously donate a substantial amount of time, effort and energy to bring this Festival to fruition each year. In return, vendors and guests benefit from the high-quality standards expected from the Festival. By adhering to the following procedures established by The NCFACC, you will help preserve the Festival’s pride. Each vendor is expected to:
1. Apply to the Festival via Zapplication (this website). This is the method by which applications are submitted, reviewed, and stored. If you get stuck/frustrated, or just want to check out how it’s done, see ARTIST HELP VIDEOS.
2. Pay the non-refundable application/jury fee of $35 if application is submitted by 1/08/2027, after 1/08/2027 jury fees will increase; the booth fee will be payable upon acceptance.
3. Submit five (5) pictures – four (4) of your wares and ONE (1) PHOTO MUST BE OF YOUR BOOTH SETUP.
4. Must be able to set up at designated set-up time on Friday. The assigned time is at committee discretion and is dependent upon many variables. Assigned times could be as early as 8:00 am CST, but no later than 3:00 pm CST. All participants must have vehicles cleared from the streets no later than 5:00 pm CST on Friday.
5. Participate regardless of weather conditions; the festival will be held rain or shine. Springtime storms are common in the Sequatchie Valley during...well...the Spring. It might rain. We hope it does not. But, if it does, be prepared to participate in the Festival.
6. Stay open for business during the hours of 8:00am to 6:00pm CST on Saturday and 8:00am to 5:00pm on Sunday—even if it rains. You may have the opportunity to be open for business Friday night during the street dance, if desired.
7. Have a tent – a 10’ X 10’ tent fits nicely into the 12’ X 12’ paved space provided.
8. Bring your own display tables, shelves or whatever is required to properly display your wares.
9. Participate regardless of weather conditions; the festival will be held rain or shine. Really.
10. Clean up the space around your booth before leaving.
11. Reapply next year—OK, this is more of a “hope” than an “expectation.” But we are confident that you will want to come back once you have tasted our cornbread!
12. If COVID or any other situation causes a delay or cancellation of the Festival, all jury application fees and/or booth fees will be refunded
