However, this show is looking for your contemporary interpretation of this concept. What comes to your mind when you think of the garden and how it relates back to the artist? One may think of the impressionist like Monet painting his gardens in Giverny. Or perhaps your mind goes to a more abstract approach as done by Joan Mitchell. Frida Kahlo with her unique combination of portraiture with the jungle garden or the hyper-realism of the Dutch Masters. Whoever or whatever inspires you and influences your style, we welcome you to showcase your interpretation of this theme in our contemporary time. All mediums will be accepted.
