Bend Summer Festival 2027

Festival Update: Our 2027 event will take place in late June!

The Bend Summer Festival is Central Oregon's longest running arts and crafts festival, celebrating over 30 years of showcasing arts and crafts in Bend. This is a lively festival that enjoys a strong regional audience as well as tourist attendance throughout the weekend. It spans seven city blocks in Downtown Bend with the Fine Arts Promenade placed in the heart of the event. The annual festival also includes music stages, the Oregon Lifestyle Area, a Family Fun Zone, and the Bend Business Showcase area dedicated to resourceful living. The attendance averages 70,000+ people over the course of the weekend.

This show accepts the following medium categories:

To expedite invitations, this show has a virtual jury who reviews and accepts applications ongoing until the show is filled. The first round of jurying will start after Dec 1, 2026.
 
Artist amenities include a breakfast buffet including coffee and local pastries, drink vouchers and booth sitting for those traveling solo throughout the festival weekend. 

There is no booth sharing allowed.  Each booth must carry only the artist's handcrafted work in the category in which they are invited in the festival. We do allow multi-generational participation in a single booth, in a single category.
 
Each artist is required to set up their own tent that includes significant weights for each tent pole. 
 
Festival commission for fine art is 10% of gross sales at the conclusion of the festival, on Sunday, June 27, 2027. Artists are required to check out, pay their festival commission, and are given a check out pass to be able to bring their vehicles on the grounds to load out. Artists are asked to pay the festival a 5% commission on custom orders that are received through the festival.
 
Sales ledgers are given to each artists at check in, prior to the festival start, and we reccommend artists complete a written report for each sale. We will also accept your Square or other online sales report. We will have extra sales ledgers available at our info booth during the event weekend.
 
Artist festival artist hours are:
 
June 26 - 11am - 8pm
June 27 - 11am - 5pm
 
There are no refunds for CONFIRMED applications that are withdrawn. "No-shows" will not be invited to participate in future festivals.

Base Booth Fees:

• 10x10 - $250
• 10x20 - $500
• 10x30 - $575

We will have a limited number of corner or endcap booths for sale at a slightly higher price.

BECAUSE OF THE ROLLING JURY, TO  INSURE TIMELY CONFIRMATION FOR ARTISTS PARTICIPATING IN THIS FESTIVAL, ACCEPTANCE AND PAYMENT IS DUE WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF YOUR INVITATION TO THE EVENT. IF YOU HAVE BEEN INVITED, AND HAVE NOT ACCEPTED AND PAID WITHIN THAT TIMEFRAME, YOU WILL BE WITHDRAWN.

Arrival information and booth assignments are emailed to confirmed artisans 10 days before the event date. Load in begins at 5:30am continuing through 9am on Saturday, June 26, load in times are based on area placement, and load out begins at 5:30pm on June 27.
