A narrative thread braids a story together, creating cohesion and building tension. Events, characters, and themes are woven together through a beginning, middle, and end. What story will your artwork tell us? A fantasy, a tragedy, or perhaps…a romance? We welcome a broad interpretation of the theme. All varieties of fiber artists are encouraged to apply.
Show dates are May 15th - June 20th. Cash award opportunities for this show total at $800. The opening reception is May 17th, 1 - 3pm.
Our gallery, located inside the historic Alberta House, is a block from the Soo Locks, which attract over 500,000 visitors a year. June is a busy month for the Alberta House, with Engineer's Day bringing over 20,000 visitors.
