King William Fair 2027

The King William Fair is a one-day event to be held on Saturday, April 24, 2027, from 9:00am - 5:00pm. The first Fair was held in 1968 and today approximately 25,000 visitors attend this event on the final Saturday of “Fiesta” -- San Antonio's biggest and most well-known festival. This event consists of 200 Art & Craft exhibitors, 5 stages of live music and dance performances, food and beverage booths, Kids Kingdom, and a unique parade. Set on the streets of the historic King William District of San Antonio, Texas, among the beauty of its stately homes and gracious gardens, the King William Fair has long enjoyed the reputation of San Antonio's "Best Family-Friendly Fiesta Event" with the "Quirkiest Parade."

DESCRIPTION
The King William Fair is a major Fiesta Event since dating back to 1968 that draws over 25,000 attendees. The 200 Art & Craft vendors are but one of the many compelling and engaging components of this event. In addition to Art & Craft exhibitors, the Fair includes Food Vendors, Beverage Stations, a 2-mile Parade, five stages of entertainment, a Texas Wine Garden, and the Kids Kingdom; all of which combine to create a truly unique family event. Proceeds from the King William Fair support fine art instructional programs in neighborhood schools, fund college scholarships for local students, and create revitalization and preservation efforts in the King William Historic District.

The King William Fair will accept entries in the following categories:  Apparel/Fiber, Ceramic, Drawing/Painting, Folk Art, Glass, Home/Body/Wellness, Jewelry, Leather/Metal/Wood, Mixed Media/Mosaic/Sculpture, Fun Fiesta Creations, Photography/Book Arts/Paper, Pre-Packaged Food, and World Market.

STANDARDS AND POLICIES

• The King William Fair is only open to individual artists/exhibitors directly involved in the design and creation of the work they exhibit. All work must be original and made by hand – No fabricated forms, kits, patterns or commercial products, or “buy and sell” products will be allowed.
• Artists must be present during the event and must personally staff their booth. No dealers, agents or representatives will be permitted.  (The exception to this requirement is for those participating in the World Market area.)
• Vendors will receive two (2) wristbands per booth. Additional wristbands are available at a 20% discount ($16 Each). Additonal wristbands can be purchased through your Zapplication account.
• Artists may only exhibit and sell work in the media category for which they submitted and are accepted.  We reserve the right to reject any artist’s displayed items not in keeping with the images submitted. If the exhibited product was not included in the submitted slides, the artist may be asked to remove those items from their booth and/or may not be accepted to participate in future King William Fairs.
• Participation in previous King William Fairs does NOT necessarily guarantee acceptance for this year’s Fair. Committee decisions are final and inquiries that question or dispute the committee’s decisions will not be accepted.  
• The King William Fair cannot be held responsible for damage, loss or theft of work or property.  Display booths and items left in place before, during, or after Fair hours are the full responsibility of the exhibitor.
• The Executive Director is the official spokesperson for the King William Fair. If any incident related to the Fair and/or that may occur within the Fair Zone, do not discuss details with the media or anyone else, and refer the inquiry to our Executive Director.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

• Written notification of cancellation must be received by the close of business on March 23, 2027.
  • Exhibitors who notify the Fair by this cancellation date will be fully refunded fees, less the non-refundable application processing fee.
  • No refunds will be made to artists/exhibitors who cancel after this date.  No exceptions.
• The King William Fair is held outdoors rain or shine. No credits or refunds are issued if the Fair is affected by forces of nature beyond our control.
• We will not cancel the Fair unless informed by state, city or local officials that it will be in the best interest of safety for all.

• Spaces are 10 feet deep x 15 feet wide (measured out 1 foot from curb and side to side). Spaces will be marked on the street and numbered on the curb. Your assigned space will be indicated on your Artist Packet.
• Vendors are responsible for their own tent or canopy (limited to 12’ height), display fixtures, shelves, etc. There is no extra space for storage.
• Vendors must stay within the booth boundaries and must not encroach on private property, yards, sidewalks, or driveways. NO EXCEPTIONS. When setting up, please be mindful of landscaping and plantings in spaces between curbs and the sidewalk.
• There are a limited number of electrical connections available for purchase only by selecting the MADISION 300 BLOCK in Zapplication. Electrical generators are not permitted and you may not obtain electricity from any private home. Vendors may purchase only one electrical drop per booth.

IF ACCEPTED

• Congratulations! Once you receive your invitation to be an Art & Craft vendor, we urge you to ACCEPT and PURCHASE BOOTH SPACE as soon as possible as your booth location is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
• You will only be able to purchase booth space by STREET NAME AND BLOCK NUMBER (i.e. King William Street 100 block). CHOOSE CAREFULLY as there will be multiple streets and blocks available. You can refer to the Event Site Map attached for reference. Once all spaces on a block have been purchased they will be unavailable and you will need to choose another block. 
• If you are a returning vendor with a preferred booth location, you will still need to purchase the corresponding Street Name and Block Number in Zapplication. Please indicate your exact preferred location space when prompted in the application section. Be as specific as possible, for example, S208 or Sheridan 208. This does not guarantee your space but we will do our best to accommodate.

• Non-refundable Application: $40.00
• Standard Booth: $335.00
• Corner Booth: $445.00
• 110V Electrical Power (optional): $200.00
• Liability Insurance (optional): $79.00 for each booth
• Pre-packaged Food: $35.00 to cover Health Department inspection​​​​​​

• Parking Permit Fee: $30 (one vehicle per vendor)

PARKING PERMIT FEE
The King William Fair is unable to provide free parking permits for vendors. However, we have secured a limited number of parking spaces available for $30 per vehicle (only one vehicle per vendor). Please email zet@kwfair.org as soon as possible if you have a vehicle with trailer or an oversized vehicle requiring more than one parking space as that will require the purchase of a second parking space. Parking permits must be purchased with your booth payment so that we can ensure access to parking for all vebdors who purchase parking.

You may purchase a parking permit ONLY in advance through your Zapplication account, and it will be included in your vendor packet. On Saturday there will be 4 golf carts (2 are 6 seaters) running continuously between Vendor Parking and Fair Entrances from 5:30 - 8:30am and then again at end of day between Fair Entrances and Vendor Parking from 4:30 - 8:30pm with additional shuttles roaming the Fair zone for pick-ups at the end of day.
You must purchase your permit when you accept and pay for your booth.
Here is additional information if you choose to handle parking on your own, however shuttle service is not offered to and from these locations:

City of San Antonio One Stop Building Lot
1901 S. Alamo (at S. Flores)
Parking spaces are free however trailers will be towed.
Federal Building Parking Lot
727 E. Cesar E. Chavez (at Indianola)
Paid parking spaces for $15 per vehicle (and this is changing ownership soon so that could change without our knowledge).
Alamodome Lot B Parking
E. Cesar E. Chavez Blvd at Cherry St. (the address for the Alamodome is 100 Montana St. but this is not the location of Parking Lot B)
Paid parking spaces at $10 per vehicle.
Neighborhood Parking
There is limited parking throughout the King William and Southtown area. Please pay attention to permanent and temporary parking restriction signs. Illegally parked vehicles will be ticketed and/or towed. You may park in nearby commercial lots and walk to your booth. Some property owners and parking lots may have parking spaces for sale, typically $10 to $30 per day.
Parking Enforcement
Be sure to follow Texas State parking laws when parking downtown and in the neighborhood. The following is a partial listing of where it is illegal to park:

• in an intersection, on a sidewalk, crosswalk (marked or unmarked), or railroad track
• in front of any driveway
• within 15 ft of a fire hydrant
• within 20 ft of a crosswalk (marked or unmarked)
• within 30 ft of a yield sign, stop sign, or traffic signal
• double parking on a street

I understand that the application fee is non-refundable, and that other fees are non-refundable after Tuesday, March 23, 2027, even if the King William Fair is canceled.
