Call for Artists – Celebrate Our 5th Anniversary!

Join us for the 5th Annual Flair on the Square Juried Art Festival, held the 4^th weekend in July in the heart of our beautiful historic town square. We're seeking talented artists to join us and be part of a vibrant, community-centered celebration of creativity, culture, and the arts.

Conveniently located just one hour from both Toledo, Ohio, and Fort Wayne, Indiana, our festival attracts visitors from Northwest Ohio, Northeast Indiana, and Southern Michigan, creating a diverse regional audience of art enthusiasts and collectors.

Beyond exceptional artwork, Flair on the Square delivers an immersive experience with live entertainment, cuisine, dance and theater performers, and more than 40 participating artists within a walkable downtown setting.

This one-day juried festival offers artists the opportunity to exhibit and sell their original work while connecting with art lovers in a welcoming and energetic atmosphere.

Best Local Artist - must be within 30 miles of Bryan - $100

Artists will apply to one of the following categories: If the artist wishes to apply in more than one category, a separate application and fee is required for each category. Maximum of 2 applications allowed.

HOW TO APPLY
Applications:  Starting August 3rd, 2026.
Images Required:
4 images of artwork
1 booth image
 Your booth image must represent the full display as it will appear at Flair, including the type and arrangement of work and display materials. The image should reflect a professional, cohesive presentation.
Do not include any identifying information in your booth image.


Event Promotion:
To promote the show, the Flair on the Square Board uses a comprehensive regional marketing campaign with advertising including print, radio, social media, and more!

• No mass-production or manufactured work is permitted.
• No Artificial Intelligence (AI) Generated Work :Work that is generated in part or in whole by Artificial Intelligence (AI)—including but not limited to AI-assisted image generation, design, or fabrication—is strictly prohibited.
• 3D printed pieces are strickly prohibited. 
• Artwork shown must be of the artist’s own design and craftsmanship.
• We reserve the right to remove objectionable art from the exhibit.
• Artist must be in attendance for the duration of the event.
• Exhibiting work not consistent with submitted juried images will be asked to remove disputed work.
• Collaborating artists may apply jointly on one application. The primary artist must be in attendance for the duration of the event and at check-in.
• Exhibitors are responsible for their own display area which must fit within the 10’ x 12’ space and be strong enough to withstand wind and rain.  Tent weights are strongly encouraged.
• Flair is not responsible for any loss or damage to the property of the artist. It is the responsibility of the artist to provide insurance for their work and person.
• Flair will not be held responsible or financially liable in the unfortunate and unlikely event cancellations must be made due to weather.
• No refunds will be issued for artist cancellations received after June 8th, 2027. Refunds will be issued via Zapplication.
• By applying to our event, artists are giving Flair promotional to use photos submitted for promotional use in our social media accounts and website. 
• Artists retain 100% of their sales and are responsible for the collection and reporting of all applicable sales taxes. Williams County sales tax (7.25%)    www.tax.ohio.gov

Single Booth 10 x 12 :  $100.00
Double Booth 12 x 20 : $200.00

*Tent Rental (limited quantity) : We offer this add-on to accepted artists.

• Exhibitors are required to bring their own WHITE tent.
• The exhibit area is paved.  Staking of canopies will not be permitted. Your tent must be strong enough to withstand wind and rain.  Tent weights are required. 
• All storage must be out of sight or behind booth display. Each aritst is given 2 feet behind their booths for storage. 
• Electricity is not available for your booth and generators are prohibited.
• The artist must be present in the booth during the festival.  No agents or employees may represent the artist and all items must be handmade by the artist.
• If you are accepted into Flair on the Square in two separate categories, you will be given one booth, unless you have specifically applied for additional space.

Registration & Set up Begins at 7 AM on Saturday July 24th. Vehicles are allowed to drive near the booth location to be unloaded and then moved before set-up. DO NOT start to set up any booth until your vehicle has been moved. (Volunteers will be around to help if needed).
Parking is available a short walking distance from the square and accommodations are available for those with disabilities.

Teardown does not begin until 5pm and must be completed by 6:30pm. You may not teardown before this time or you will run the risk of being denied jury into future shows.
All of your art & booth must be completely torn down before you can get your vehicle - a volunteer will be around to issue you a ticket. Then you may get your vehicle.
NO Vehicles will be allowed in barricade areas without ticket.

Cancellation: If an artist cancels on or before June 8th, 2027 the booth fee will be refunded minus a $25 Application fee.
No Refunds: Booth fees are non-refundable after June 8th 2027.
