Application Instructions
Please read carefully. Once submitted, the Pinecrest Gardens Art & Design Fair 2027 application will be considered binding and will serve as your agreement to participate under the outlined terms.
To apply, each exhibiting artist must complete an online application. Each application requires a non-refundable jury fee and a complete set of images. We reserve the right to decline any application.
Images
Applicants must submit five (5) images, including a mandatory booth image.
The booth image is a critical component of the jury process and should clearly demonstrate how your work will be presented at the Pinecrest Gardens Art & Design Fair. If you are an emerging artist or do not yet have a booth image, you may instead submit a cohesive grouping of your work that reflects your intended presentation style, along with a brief explanation.
Jury Process
The Pinecrest Gardens Art & Design Fair utilizes a closed jury process to select 100% of exhibiting artists. Each application is reviewed virtually by a Select Juror, who scores submissions on a 1–7 scale, with 7 being the highest possible score. Applications receiving a score of 4 or below will not be selected for participation. All jury decisions are final.
Selection is based solely on submitted images and is evaluated for consistency, innovation, and technical skill—hallmarks of a professional practicing artist. Jurors evaluate the following criteria:
Consistency of Artistic Vision – Cohesiveness of the body of work and clarity of artistic intent
Quality of Composition – Strength of visual structure and conceptual execution
Creativity & Originality – Innovation and uniqueness of artistic expression
Technical Skill – Mastery of materials and craftsmanship
Material Intent & Execution – Thoughtful and effective use of chosen mediums
Booth Presentation – Overall visual impact and professionalism of exhibition setup
While media categories are used to organize submissions for review, the Pinecrest Gardens Art & Design Fair maintains no quotas or guarantees by category. A balanced representation of artists, artisans, and designers is prioritized.
Awards
Judging will take place on Saturday, January 23. A panel of judges will visit each booth to evaluate the body of work and booth presentation in person. Award recipients will be announced in the afternoon. A total of up to $10,000 in awards will be distributed at the 2027 Pinecrest Gardens Art & Design Fair.
- Cash awards totaling $10,000 will be presented to juried artists across five categories.
- Approximately 75 exhibitors will be selected for the 2027 Pinecrest Gardens Art & Design Fair.
