Opportunity Summary
The Kensington Art Fair is a Southeast Michigan favorite, often designated one of the top shows by Sunshine Artist Magazine. Artists with all price points indicated strong sales. Many report selling originals priced in the thousands. The beautiful setting is convenient, comfortable, and attractive.
Kensington is one of the most popular parks in Southeast Michigan and is centered in a wealthy area of lakefront homes. Two and a half million people visit the park annually.
The show offers dedicated parking for artists and patrons adjacent to the event. We limit the show to about 100 booths to increase your chance of success. Our marketing program is designed to attract qualified high-end art collectors.
Integrity Shows uses a three-year jury system. Artists are guaranteed a space for 3 years provided they apply by the deadline and abide by the show rules. At least half the spaces are available in any given year.
Please note: Kensington Metro Park requires an annual or a daily pass for each vehicle. One pass is included for each artist. If you need more passes, the fee (In 2026) was $40 for an annual pass or $10 daily.

Definitions and Restrictions:
PRINTS / REPRODUCTIONS / EMBELISHED / MASS ITEMS
In an effort to be clear to art buyers, we use the following definitions:
• Prints are made by a process that assures each one may be unique. Etching, wood cut, silk screen and so forth. Prints are welcome and should be numbered and signed. Apply under print.
• Reproductions are mechanically produced images, which include Giclée’s, digital copies, 3D printing and so forth. We permit reproductions as up to 25% of your booth as long as they are clearly labeled and are made from your own original artwork. These items should also be numbered and signed for maximum value. Each piece should be clearly labeled- reproduction.
• Embellished work is art with added details, touches of paint or other modifications to make each one unique. We encourage you to embellish your own art prints and reproductions and then clearly label them. These need not be numbered as each is somewhat different. All art should be signed.
• Mass Items are similar to reproductions in that they can be easily produced in large quantities. These items are not expected at art fairs; however, you may sell stickers, buttons, magnets, coasters or notecards if they are your originally work and the display must be limited to about a 2’ by 2’ area, either vertical or horizontal
• Kits, commercial molds, copywritten or trademarked images are NOT allowed. This includes sports team logos. Images of another people’s art, such as photo of a mural is not acceptable, unless you created the original art.
MEDIUM SPECIFIC RESTRICTIONS
Jewelry-
Manufactured components, such as chains, beads and the like must not be the focus of the art, nor can these be sold separately. You may use chains or beads to set-off your own artwork and your art work must be the focus of the piece. Selecting and stringing beads, pearls, stones and the like is not enough no matter how well done. The focal point must be art made by you. Wrapping a stone, mass produced item or other object not made by you must be done is such a way that the wrapping is the focal point / feature (not the wrapped object). Wire or bead weaving is judged by the finished product and may be an exception to the rules about using commercially produced items.
Fiber-
Wearable fiber art, (cloth and fabric is used to create a new and unique item) is allowed. This can include items stitched from raw cloth, woven, crochet and so forth. Repurposed wearables made from other items can be acceptable if the final item is substantially different from the original pieces. Printing or reproductions on shirts, bags and other items are not permitted. Hand painted and embellished shirts may be included by artists invited in fiber if they have been included in at least one individual item photo and description. Tote bags and the like may not be sold, even if hand painted.
Photo-
The original image must be shot by the artist. Printing can be done in any archival manner and printed on paper, cloth or metal. No photos on commercial products like shirts and bags. The images must at a minimum be signed and ideally be numbered as a limited edition. Photos that have are substantially changed from the original image are considered digital art and artists should apply in that category.
Candles, soaps and fragrances-
Sorry. No.
Artificial Intelligence-
This is a fast moving area. While it is possible to be creative and artistic using your language skills, we do not accept this for a visual art fair. In our opinion this would be like describing a painting to another artist and having them create it with your oversight. Not what we are looking for. Use it for inspiration, but not for your final art.
Refund Policy
You may cancel your participation at the art fair at any time and for any reason. There may be penalties depending on when we receive your notification. If cancellation is received 60 days before the show you receive a full refund. Artists canceling 45 days before the show may receive a 75% refund or apply all fees to the next year. Refunds of 50% are available until 30 days before the show. After that time there are no refunds except if the show is canceled.
If the show is canceled by Integrity Shows, the artist receives a full refund, unless cancelation is required by the venue or a government body. If we cancel at least one month before move-in day a minimum of 75% of booth fees will be returned. After that, a minimum of 50% of booth rent is refunded until one week prior to move-in day. If the cancellation if required on or after that, no refunds are available.
There is no discount or refund if the show hours are reduced due to weather or other factors
