The 6th Annual Daytona Beach Arts Fest returns April 10–11, 2027, bringing artists, creativity, and community together in the heart of Downtown Daytona Beach.
More than a traditional fine art festival, DBAF27 brings together juried artists, emerging talent, artisans, performers, arts organizations, students, and the community for an engaging celebration of the arts along Beach Street and the Riverfront Esplanade.
Artists will compete for an expanded awards program, and festivalgoers will once again have the opportunity to recognize a favorite artist through the People’s Choice Award.

AWARD JUDGING PANEL:
Applications for juried fine artists will be reviewed following the February 15, 2027 application deadline. Jurying will take place February 16–21, 2027, with artist notifications issued on February 22, 2027. Accepted artists must accept their invitation and purchase their booth space no later than March 1, 2027. Festival award judging will take place onsite during the Daytona Beach Arts Fest, April 10–11, 2027, and will be based on the artist’s overall body of work within the category in which they applied.

1. Security & Liability
- Although 24-hour security surveillance will be in place during the festival, Riverfront Arts District (RAD) is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged artwork, merchandise, equipment, displays, or personal property.
- Exhibitors are solely responsible for securing their artwork, booth displays, and personal belongings.
- While precautionary measures are taken, theft or damage can occur. Exhibitors are encouraged to remain vigilant and take appropriate steps to protect their booth and property throughout the festival.
2. Buy/Sell Policy
- No Buy/Sell exhibitors are permitted. All work displayed and sold must be the original, handcrafted creation of the exhibiting artist.
- Artwork, merchandise, or products created by others or purchased for resale are strictly prohibited.
- Exhibitors found in violation of this policy may be required to immediately vacate the festival without refund.
- We appreciate the cooperation of our artist community in helping festival staff identify and address potential Buy/Sell violations.
3. Exhibitor Participation Requirements
- Presence Required: Exhibitors must be present in their booths and participate for the full two-day festival, Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11, 2027.
- No Early Breakdown: Booths may not be dismantled, closed, or packed before 4:00 PM on Sunday, April 11, 2027.
- Exit Procedure: An organized load-out procedure will be implemented. Exhibitors must follow festival staff instructions and may not begin breakdown prior to 4:00 PM Sunday.
- Minimum Display: Each booth must display a minimum of four (4) original pieces of artwork.
- Identification: Festival-issued booth or space identification cards must be visibly displayed throughout the festival.
- Clean-Up: Exhibitors must completely vacate their assigned space and leave the area clean and free of trash, zip ties, display materials, and debris by 9:00 PM on Sunday, April 11, 2027.
4. Sales Tax Requirements
- Artists and vendors are responsible for collecting, reporting, and remitting all applicable Florida sales taxes on sales made during Daytona Beach Arts Fest.
- Exhibitors are responsible for maintaining any required Florida Department of Revenue registration or documentation.
- Additional information and forms are available through the Florida Department of Revenue.
5. Eligibility & Application Guidelines
- Application Fee: A non-refundable $35 application processing fee is required at the time of application.
- Processing Time: Applicants should allow up to 14 days for application review and notification unless otherwise stated in the DBAF27 application timeline.
- Juried Fine Artists: Artists may exhibit and sell only work that falls within the medium/category approved through their application.
- Non-Juried Artists / Arts & Crafts Marketplace: Exhibitors must display and sell only work or products within their approved application category.
- Emerging Artists: Applicants participating in the Emerging Artist Program must be currently enrolled students at the time of the festival, April 10–11, 2027, and must present a valid student ID at check-in.
- Collaborative Work: Artists who genuinely create their body of work collaboratively may apply as a team. Artists who work independently must submit separate applications.
6. Prohibited Items & Practices
The following are not permitted and may result in dismissal from the festival without refund:
- Buy/Sell merchandise or work purchased for resale
- Copies or reproductions of another artist's work or masterworks
- Mass-produced, production-line, factory-produced, or kit-based artwork
- Items produced primarily using commercial molds or premanufactured components
- Manufactured jewelry or jewelry assembled primarily from commercially produced kits
- Commercial photography, advertisements, or offset prints represented as original artwork
- Commercial signage, unrelated merchandise, or products that were not approved through the application process
- Artwork or merchandise that does not correspond with the approved application category
- Work falsely represented as original or handcrafted by the exhibiting artist
- Materials or displays determined by festival management to violate applicable laws or festival standards
Festival management reserves the right to review work displayed in any booth and require the removal of items that do not comply with the application, category, or festival rules.
7. General Festival Policies
- Rain or Shine: Daytona Beach Arts Fest will take place rain or shine on April 10–11, 2027, unless conditions require modification, delay, evacuation, or cancellation for public safety.
- Exhibitors are responsible for providing appropriate weather-resistant booth equipment and properly securing tents, artwork, and displays.
- Booth assignments and festival layouts are subject to change when necessary for safety, operations, City requirements, or event production.
- Exhibitors must comply with all instructions provided by festival management, safety personnel, and authorized event staff.
- No refunds will be issued for an exhibitor's failure to participate, early departure, or dismissal resulting from violation of festival rules.
- Submission of an application constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of the Daytona Beach Arts Fest rules, regulations, policies, and participation requirements.

Booth Sizes & Pricing
Each exhibitor space measures 12 feet wide by 12 feet deep. A limited number of double spaces measuring 12 feet wide by 20 feet deep are available.

Tent & Display Requirements
- Tents must be professional-grade 10' x 10' tents, or 10' x 20' for an approved double space.
- Camping tents are not permitted.
- Tents and booth displays must be sturdy and capable of withstanding wind, changing weather conditions, and festival crowds.
- Ground staking is not permitted.
- Exhibitors are responsible for properly weighting and securing their tents throughout the festival.
For the safety of artists, patrons, and festival participants, all tents must be properly secured using safe, stable, and trip-free weighting methods.
Permitted options include:
- Tube weights
- Sandbag weights
- Concrete-filled buckets
- Weight plates
- Stabilizer bars with sandbags
- Concrete blocks, dumbbells, or water containers, provided they are safely secured and kept completely within the booth footprint and out of all pedestrian walkways
Setup & Festival Operations
- Festival map and booth assignments are anticipated to be emailed approximately one week before the festival.
- Artist setup begins Friday, April 9, 2027, at 9:00 AM.
- Detailed artist check-in, vehicle access, unloading, and setup instructions will be provided by email prior to the festival.
- Booths must be completely set up and ready for the public by:
- Saturday, April 10, 2027 — 9:00 AM
- Sunday, April 11, 2027 — 10:00 AM
- All booth spaces will be clearly marked prior to artist arrival.
- Exhibitors may not move, trade, or switch booth locations without prior approval from the Festival Chair or Artist Coordinator.
- Security personnel are not authorized to approve booth or space changes.
Additional Details
Electricity
Electricity is available in limited locations at no additional charge.
Exhibitors requiring electricity must request it on their application. Requests will be accommodated based on availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Tents Are Not Provided
Exhibitors are responsible for providing their own professional-grade tent, booth display, tables, chairs, weights, and other necessary equipment.

Weather Preparedness
Daytona Beach Arts Fest is a rain-or-shine event.
Exhibitors should come prepared for changing Florida weather conditions and are encouraged to bring:
- Rain covers and protective coverings for artwork
- Proper tent weights
- Additional booth stabilization equipment
- Weather-resistant storage materials
- Leveling equipment or shims, as some booth locations may have slightly uneven surfaces
Artist Setup Responsibility
RAD staff and festival volunteers are not responsible for assembling or dismantling artist booths.
Artists should plan accordingly and bring sufficient assistance and equipment to transport, unload, erect, secure, and dismantle their booth and artwork.

Refund Policy
DBAF27 Refund & Cancellation Policy
Daytona Beach Arts Fest (DBAF27)

Festival Dates: April 10–11, 2027
We understand that circumstances can change and strive to maintain a fair and transparent refund policy for participants in the 2027 Daytona Beach Arts Fest.
Cancellation Deadline
Requests to cancel participation and receive an eligible refund must be submitted in writing no later than March 11, 2027, which is 30 days prior to the start of the festival.
Cancellation requests received after March 11, 2027, are not eligible for a refund.
Refunds
Participants who submit an eligible cancellation request on or before March 11, 2027 will receive a refund of 80% of their booth or participation fee. A 20% cancellation fee will be retained to cover administrative and processing costs.
The $35 application processing fee is non-refundable under all circumstances.
Any additional fees specifically identified as non-refundable at the time of registration or acceptance will also be deducted from the amount refunded.
Event Cancellation
Daytona Beach Arts Fest is a rain-or-shine event.
If the entire festival is canceled by Riverfront Arts District due to circumstances that prevent the event from taking place, including government restrictions, public safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond the festival's reasonable control, RAD will determine the appropriate refund or credit of eligible participation fees based on expenses already incurred on behalf of the event.
The $35 application processing fee remains non-refundable.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 30 days following the festival dates of April 10–11, 2027.
Please allow additional time for funds to appear in your account depending on the payment method and financial institution.
Transfers & Substitutions
Festival registrations and booth assignments are non-transferable and may not be sold, assigned, or transferred to another artist or vendor.
Substitutions may be considered only under exceptional circumstances and require advance written approval from festival administration. Any approved substitute must meet the eligibility requirements for the same exhibitor category and comply with all DBAF27 rules and application requirements.
Failure to Participate
Failure to attend the festival, late arrival, early departure, or removal from the festival for violation of festival rules does not qualify for a refund.
Submitting an application and accepting an invitation to participate in DBAF27 constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of this refund and cancellation policy.
