Opportunity Summary
Join us to celebrate bringing fine artists and artisans to The Compound, Round Top, Texas. The festival’s goal is to become ranked nationally among the top Fine Arts & Artisans Festivals in the country. This is a festival that will not only appreciate its artists and artisans but also -Every Patron. This juried festival offers artists and artisans a natural venue set in a unique historical setting along FM237. In its first year, the festival featured 72 extraordinary fine artists and artisans from all over the country, representing a broad spectrum of styles, mediums, and fine crafts. With some growing pains and a learning curve, the festival continues to prove to be a strong platform that caters to an audience of educated, well-funded art buyers, collectors, and lovers of fine art and craftsmanship in all its forms. With free parking and easy load-in and load-out, not to mention professional, friendly staff and volunteers, we look forward to seeing you in the Fall of 2026 at The Compound Spring Fine Art Festival.
The Compound is partnering with A Meeting of Styles (AMOS), a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation whose mission is to provide regional, cultural, and educational enrichment opportunities that encourage, support, and promote the performing and visual arts and fine crafts with the inclusion of all artists and artisans from every group and demographic and welcomes all. This is fully aligned with the mission of the owner of The Compound who supports Arts for Rural Texas and their fine arts education programs in rural areas.
AMOS, Inc, the Accessible Beyond Limited Expectations (ABLE) Council, and The Compound seek to become more than just a Festival; we are also driven to establish a significant cultural arts outreach program. We will strive to partner with community cultural arts organizations, including state and academic institutes, working together to extend the benefits of the cultural arts, both visual and performing, to many different groups. Our programming may include enrichment opportunities for school children, therapeutic healing benefits for abused women and children, and our community veterans. We are advocates of the healing power of the arts and quality of life enrichment. We are also educators in our community, bringing collectors, academics, and artists together to further their understanding and appreciation of the arts. Our goal is to provide over $20,000 in scholarships and grants each year.
The Compoundfestival team will select jurors who will jury up to 100 National and International artists and artisans, highlighting a Best of Show located in the Farmstead, giving the Show a Featured Exhibit of the Winner selected each year, and will include a group to represent the special needs and talents community. Artists and artisans will sell their original creations in the truest of artistic atmosphere and environment. The Compound strives to be the place noted for recognizing the arts. Located in a creative Texas community, the festival director dedicates energy to create an event that is the destination for leisure guests, art collectors, observer/collectors of fine hand-crafted items, intrigued participants of demonstrated skill, individual business travelers, and groups of all sizes. Visitors and residents of the community will enjoy more than an acre of talent.
