The Naples Fine Art Show by Hot Works returns December 5 & 6, 2026 taking place outdoors at Coastland Center Mall, a prime location located outdoors along Golden Gate Blvd., just east of US-41. This popular high-end mall is known for hosting public events and offers ample, convenient parking for attendees.

Show Producer Patty Narozny, with over 35+ years of media and event experience, is renowned for her integrity and ability to produce exceptional juried art shows. All participating artists personally create their original work—no mass-produced items are allowed. If your work is not handmade by you, please do not apply.

Narozny collaborates closely with local media to attract a sophisticated audience with the means to invest in fine art. As one participating artist shared, “Hot Works is both organized and they really bring great quality buyers.”

The event features a Friday move-in with convenient adjacent parking for both artists and patrons. For added convenience, Hot Works shows offer Light Dome tents and Pro-Panel rentals, includes set up and tear down.

  The Media
  With over 35 years of media and event experience, Hot Works knows how to effectively connect with the community and attract individuals who have both the means and the cultural appreciation to invest in fine art. Our comprehensive advertising and promotional strategy spans multiple channels, including broadcast television, print, radio, and digital marketing partnerships. Additionally, we enhance visibility through banners, posters, and postcards strategically distributed throughout the community.
  
  
  
  The Jury / Submitting Artwork
  A panel of experienced art professionals, well-versed in art shows, is retained to jury the selection process. Artwork is evaluated based on originality, technique/execution, and overall booth presentation. Applications are accepted electronically at www.zapplication.org. Please submit three high-quality images of your most compelling work and one image of your booth setup as it will appear at the show. Upon receipt of your application, we will send you a confirmation email. The jury fee is required at the time of submission.
  
  Once the jurying process is complete, you will receive notification of your status—acceptance, rejection, or placement on the waitlist. If accepted, your booth fee is due 60 days before the show date. Artists selected as alternates will be placed on a waitlist and notified if space becomes available. All jury decisions are final. Should you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us at any time.
  
  Booth assignments will be finalized approximately ten days before the event and will be accessible on the website, along with booth numbers.
  
  
  Youth Art Competition grades K-8 or ages 5-13
  $250 Awards
  The Institute for the Arts & Education, Inc. (IA&E) serves as the 501(c)(3) nonprofit arm of all Hot Works events. IA&E is dedicated to promoting visual arts, celebrating cultural diversity, enriching the community, and fostering art education for both young and emerging artists.
  
  As part of this mission, IA&E hosts a Youth Art Competition for students in grades K-8 (or ages 5-13). This initiative encourages children to create original, personally handmade artwork, which is proudly displayed at the art show throughout the weekend. Through this program, IA&E inspires creativity and provides young artists with an opportunity to engage with the community and experience the world of professional art.

Hot Works Event Rules and Guidelines
1. Artwork Requirements

• All artwork must be original, handcrafted by the artist, and the artist must be present at the show.
• Artists selling work they did not create or misrepresenting their work or themselves are not permitted to participate. Manufactured items are strictly prohibited. Violations will result in removal of the non-compliant items and potential booth closure without refund.
• The person staffing the booth must be the individual who created the work. If multiple people are involved in creating the artwork, their contributions must be detailed in the application.

2. Artist Presence

• Artists must be present during all open hours of the event and personally staff their booths.
• A government-issued photo ID must be available for verification at check-in.

3. Collaborative Work

• Collaborative works (created by two or more artists) must be submitted as a joint application. Only truly collaborative pieces are permitted in such cases, and all contributing artists must have a significant role in creating the artwork. Support roles like matting and framing are not considered collaboration.

4. Display Standards

• Artwork displayed must align with the images submitted during the application process.
• Booths must remain within assigned spaces, with no appendages extending beyond, including upward, except for approved awnings that do not obstruct emergency access.

5. Booth Sharing

• Booth sharing is not allowed unless all artists are represented in the submitted juried images.

6. Electricity and Generators

• Outdoor-rated generators are permitted if placed 20 feet away from tents and do not disturb others. Quiet, odor-free inverters or batteries are preferred. Generator details must be disclosed in the application for approval.

7. Prints and Reproductions

• Prints and reproductions must be clearly labeled and limited to 30% or less of the work displayed.
• Photography, digital, or giclée prints must be limited to editions of 250, signed, numbered, and printed on archival materials. Digital art must originate from the artist’s file.

8. Event Participation

• Artists must provide sufficient inventory to exhibit for the event’s entire duration. Early breakdowns or departures are not permitted and may result in disqualification from future shows unless an emergency can be substantiated.

9. Booth Assignments

• Booth spaces are assigned at the event’s discretion and are non-interchangeable. Special location requests will be considered but cannot be guaranteed. Corner spaces are subject to availability and additional cost. Assignments will be posted online at least one week prior to the show.

10. Tent and Weather Precautions

• Professional-grade tents (e.g., Light Dome or Show-Off canopies) are strongly recommended.
• Lighter, umbrella-style tents must be weighted with a minimum of 50 lbs per corner and reinforced to prevent ponding during rain. Tents should be lowered overnight to withstand potential weather conditions.
• Tents must align with neighboring booths, with no items protruding into aisles.

11. Presentation

• Artwork cannot be displayed on the ground unless pre-approved with booth images submitted during the application.
• Only the signage provided by the event is permitted to be displayed.

12. Sales Tax

• Artists are responsible for collecting and remitting the 7.0% Naples, Florida, sales tax. For assistance, contact the Florida Department of Revenue at 800-352-3671 or visit Florida Revenue Online.

13. Promotion and Marketing

• Artists are encouraged to build and utilize mailing lists in each city they participate in.

Tent Rental Policy

Artists are welcome to set up and use their own tent that meets the event requirements.

Outside tent rental companies are not permitted to deliver, install, remove, or service tents at any Hot Works art show.

This policy is in place due to:

• Agreements with the host city and venue.
• Existing agreements with authorized vendors serving Hot Works events.
• Insurance and liability requirements.
• Event logistics and safety considerations.

Hot Works offers Light Dome tent rentals (with optional ProPanels) for artists who need a rental tent. Rental tents are professionally installed prior to artist arrival and removed following the event.

16. Event Inspections

• Booths will be inspected onsite to ensure compliance with all rules and standards.

Checklist
— Complete all required information on the application and by the deadline.
—$35 app fee on Zapplication.org. Jury fee waived for previous year’s event winners in that event.
— Please provide three electronic images of your most compelling work, plus one of your booth as you would set up at the show (include browse bins, if any). Size 1920x1920, or minimum 300 dpi.
__ Upon your acceptance into the show, booth payment is due approximately 60 days prior to the event for which you have applied. If needed, a $200 deposit can be paid to hold the space with balance paid two weeks before the show.
— You may include an Artist Statement explaining the process and materials used in your work, as well as your reproduction process. Please also indicate a list of any recent awards and honors.
— Please make all checks payable to “Hot Works, LLC” and mail to: PO Box 79 Milford, MI 48381-0079 postmarked by deadline.

Electricity: Generators may be used outdoors only, however:

• You must advise us a minimum of three weeks prior to show date that you are bringing a generator
• Your generator cannot bother anyone for whatever reason
• Your generator must be made for outdoor use
• Your generator must be placed a minimum of 20’ away from any structure
• You must have your own fire extinguisher in your booth at all times while the equipment is running
• Invertor or battery is better

REFUND POLICY

 

• Cancellations made 60 days or more before the event will receive a full refund. For cancellations made between 30 and 59 days prior, fees will be applied toward the next scheduled show. No refunds will be issued within 30 days of the event. Booth fees transferred from a previously canceled show are non-refundable.

 

• There are no rain dates or refunds for event cancellations caused by weather conditions (rain, floods, tornadoes, hurricanes), acts of God, government actions, or any other circumstances beyond the event's control.
