McKinney Arts in Bloom Festival 2027

• Booth sitting
• Free basic electricity (with additional electricity available for a nominal fee)

• Four (4) images are to be submitted for each application entered by an artist. 
• Three (3) images must be of individual pieces of work. 
• The fourth image must be a BOOTH IMAGE displaying the artist's work, which shows a presentation of the artist's current body of work.   Any work outside the submitted medium that appears in the booth shot will not be considered accepted by the jury, simply because it appears in the booth image.

• The booth must be located outside when the image is taken.
• The booth image must show a complete, front-on view in daylight, including the entire tent, as well as an unobstructed view of the display area and the work to be exhibited.
• The booth image must show a single 10’ x 10’ booth. 
• The booth image should show the artist's complete body of work, matching or consistent with the body of work shown in the first three images, and help identify the scale of the artist's work. In addition, any work outside the medium and context of the submitted images that may appear in the booth shot will not be considered accepted by the jury solely because it is included in the booth image.

• Artists will not be identified by name, but by the assigned Zapplication number.  All images should be void of signatures or identifying marks to ensure anonymity.
• Arts In Bloom may limit the number of artists accepted in each category to present a balanced show.
• Additional artists are retained to comprise a waiting list of alternatives.
• The jury panel's decisions will be final.

• Single Booth Fee (10’x10’):   $395
• Corner Booth Fee (10’x10’):  $550 (First-come, first-served).
• Double Booth Fee (10'x20'):  $875 (Limited to only one per aisle.)   

• All vehicles and trailers must park in the designated artist parking lot at First McKinney Baptist Church.  Parking is FREE!
• You may not park anywhere in the downtown area near the festival site.  For your convenience, a shuttle bus will operate continuously throughout the day, every day, between First McKinney Baptist Church and the festival site.  
• NO RV hookups or overnight camping are allowed in the designated artist parking lot of First McKinney Baptist Church.  Unhitched trailers may remain in the designated vendor area of the parking lot, but please be aware that NO overnight security is provided. Unhitched trailers that are not parked in the designated area are subject to being towed at your own expense.
• Artists will receive more information about parking closer to the event date.

• The festival will receive and review all Artists' applications.
• Participating in a previous festival does not ensure acceptance for the upcoming event, nor does it guarantee you will receive the exact booth location.
• The Festival Organizer assigns corner booths.
• The booth image submitted with the artist’s application will be referenced to determine the appropriateness of the booth’s design and integrity to maintain the highest possible standards of presentation at the event.
• Artists may jury in more than one category, but not with the same body of work. Only one application may be submitted per body of work, with a jury fee for each category.  The artist must use the same name for both applications.
• Artists may only exhibit and sell work in the media category for which they are accepted.
• The jury committee or festival staff reserves the right to refuse exhibition of work that is not consistent with the submitted images and the rules listed above. Failure to comply will result in immediate removal from the festival with no refund.
• All work submitted and exhibited must be original, hand-crafted work produced by the artist and may not be the result of work by any person other than the artist, or the artist and their collaborating artists.
• Collaborating artists are permitted; however, any representation other than a genuine, hands-on artistic collaboration will not be tolerated.  Only the collaborating artists are allowed to participate in the creative and mechanical process of the work being exhibited – not their assistants.  Collaborating artists may exhibit only their collaborative work(s).  Both collaborating artists must be present for the entire duration of the event.
• All Artists must be present on site during the entire Festival. No spouses or other representatives will be permitted in place of the artist. Photo ID is required at check-in.
• Quality, unframed reproductions of two-dimensional originals, signed and numbered by the Artist, are the only acceptable form of sales in addition to the original works.  Artists must define “reproduction" or “limited edition" through their Artist Statement, and each piece must be clearly and individually labeled as “reproduction," signed, and numbered appropriately.  The original work must be available and on sale in the Artist’s booth.
• Arts in Bloom does not permit the sale of promotional items such as postcards, books, note cards, posters, coloring books, or any other offset reproductions. T-shirts may not be sold.
• All jewelry must have been juried in the jewelry category. Only those artists accepted in the jewelry category may display or sell jewelry.
• Cancellations must be delivered in writing (including email) on or before March 19, 2027, to receive a 50% refund, less a $15 administration fee. NO REFUNDS after March 19, 2027.
• Participating exhibitors are responsible for collecting and paying current Texas sales tax on all sales made during the show and reporting them as sold in McKinney, Texas.
• Artists will receive an artist packet at check-in. 
• All rental tents must be delivered and set up by Noon on Friday, April 9.  The artist need not be present for the rental tent set-up.
• The Artist will supervise and maintain the space provided, using his/her skill and attention, and shall be solely responsible for all labor, material, equipment, tools, and other facilities through the duration of the event, including take-down.
• The Artist shall be responsible for initiating, maintaining, and supervising all safety precautions in his/her assigned space.
• NO extending booth setup beyond the perimeter of the assigned space for any reason, including work, display, or storage
• Artists must comply with all safety requirements, and vehicles must be parked only in designated areas. Noncompliance will result in elimination from consideration for any future festivals.
• If McKinney Main Street is required for reasons beyond its control to postpone, shorten, or cancel Arts in Bloom, no artist shall have any right or claim for any damages, whether direct, indirect, or consequential, or any other kind, arising or alleged to arise by reason of postponement or cancellation of the event. 
• No refunds or preferred treatment can be made for inclement weather or any other causes not in the control of McKinney Main Street and Arts in Bloom.
• Arts in Bloom is a rain-or-shine event; however, some activities may be postponed or canceled if threatening weather poses a danger to attendees, participants, staff, and property. 
• McKinney Main Street Participation Waiver must be signed and delivered (by mail or email) to the Festival Organizer by April 9, 2026.

• Artists receive a 12' x 12' standard space and must provide their own clean, WHITE tent.
• The artist must own a professional-grade frame tent or rent one from the festival.
• Artists must provide their own weights (each leg must be secured with at least 60 lbs) and their own display structure, racks, and/or tables for displaying their work in an outdoor environment.   Booths and displays must be constructed to withstand crowds and wind. Artists should be prepared for inclement weather with rain covers, tie-downs, and weights. Staking is not possible or permitted.  Artists are liable for any damage caused by their tents. Each artist is responsible for their own display in case of damage or loss.
• If an artist does not have a tent, a 10'x10' white tent with sidewall, weights, and light source can be rented for $350.
• Booths are assigned in advance of the festival and restricted to the juried artist(s) and their work; however, show staff reserves the right to add additional artist areas, such as Emerging Artists or other specialty areas in the show, if deemed appropriate to the overall growth and development of the Festival.
• Booth Numbers will be available on Arts in Bloom's website around April 5, 2027.
• Photo ID is required at check-in.
• Arts in Bloom name tags must be worn at all times, and a booth number provided in your artist packet must be prominently displayed in your booth.

• Artists' cancellations must be delivered in writing (including email) on or before March 19, 2027, to receive a 50% refund, less a $15 administration fee. 
• NO REFUNDS after March 19, 2027.
