Sun and Shores Art Festival 2027

Join us for the 2nd Annual Sun & Shores Arts Festival, a vibrant, family-friendly weekend celebrating creativity by the sea! Hosted by the City of Daytona Beach Shores, this two-day outdoor festival will feature 75 different artists, along with food trucks, live music, and kids’ activities—all set in a fun, coastal atmosphere.

• Saturday, February 13: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• Sunday, February 14: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Artist spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are category dependent. This festival is open to artists who create original, individually handcrafted work. All artwork must be available for sale.

Booth Information

• Approximate booth size: 10’ x 10’

• Artists must be present and display work for the entire duration of the show

• Electricity is not provided; generators are not allowed

1. Registration will be on a first come, first serve basis – capacity and
category dependent. Spaces will only be assigned to arts and crafts vendors.

2. Spaces are assigned to an individual artist. Couples who work together in
a single medium are allowed.

3. Artists must be checked in by 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 12th and
exhibits must be set up by 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Anyone not checked in by
6:00 p.m. on Friday, Feburary 12th, will forfeit their space. Selected works for judging will be given
instructions on when to bring their artwork to the Shores Community Center.

4. Artists may only exhibit items that are original and individually handcrafted
by the artist present. Exhibitors who display work that is not original and
individually handcrafted by the artist may be removed from the show and no
refunds will be given.

5. All items must be available for sale. Portfolios may be used for prints.

6. Commercial photographers soliciting sales are not permitted. Ribbons
and awards won at other shows may not be displayed. Sun and Shores Art
Festival policies do not allow political booths or candidates campaigning.
Items or clothes displaying obscene political or sexual language, or
language attacking or demeaning an individual or group will not be allowed.

7. Each artist is responsible for his/her own Florida State Sales Tax (6.5%).
Neither the Sun and Shores Art Festival Committee nor its sponsors are
responsible for damage or loss of works of art. All displays are at owner’s
risk. If an artist’s display breaks or damages.

8. Upon arrival at the Sun and Shores Art Festival, you must check in at the
Festival Headquarters, located inside the Shores Community Center. Each
will receive a booth card that must be hung in your booth for judging.
The space size is approximately 10’x10’.

9. A RESERVATION IS A COMMITMENT TO SHOW AND NO
REFUNDS WILL BE MADE FOR CANCELLATION FOR ANY
REASON WHATSOEVER. THE SUN AND SHORES ART FESTIVAL
COMMITTEE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY ENTRY.
DECISION IS FINAL.

10. Artists are required to display their work throughout the show,
Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00
Artists who leave the show prior to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday (unless
weather conditions close the show early) jeopardize being accepted into
Sun and Shores Art Festival shows. Artists are expected to remain for
duration of the show. There is only one cash award per artist, except for
the Purchase Award. Award checks will be mailed approximately 3 weeks
after the event.

11. Electricity is not provided. No generators are allowed.

12. Show check-in time: Friday, February 12th 3:00pm-6:00pm

13. Artists may put a rug or floor covering in their booth but you are
required to duct tape all 4 sides with PINK or RED TAPE only.
Note: 3 pictures from each artist are required. At least one of the photos
must show the artist working in his/her medium.
