Opportunity Summary
Northwest Art Alliance - the non-profit known for producing the beloved Best of the Northwest shows and nearly four decades of artist-focused events - introduces Fiber + Flair, a brand-new artisan marketplace celebrating wearable art. The debut show takes place February 6 & 7, 2027 at the National Nordic Museum's Osberg Great Hall in Seattle's upscale Ballard neighborhood, the weekend before Valentine's Day.
In an era of fast fashion and disposable style, Fiber + Flair is a space for something more intentional - 40 wearable artists offering handcrafted jewelry, clothing, and more for shoppers who want to wear something meaningful, made by someone local. Special features include a preview gallery, wine garden, giveaways, and prize drawings. Attendees vote for their favorite booth, and two People's Choice artists each win a $250 cash prize.

General Information
Fiber + Flair brings together 40 makers working in wearable art - jewelry, clothing, leather, scarves, shoes, hats, and more. The marketplace is complemented by a preview gallery, wine garden, customer giveaways, and prize drawings. Attendees vote for their favorite artist booth, and two People's Choice winners each receive a $250 cash prize. Local business sponsorships will help anchor the event in the broader Seattle community. This event is FREE to the public!
All artist-made wearable mediums are welcome, across every style and aesthetic. Booth spaces are available at introductory pricing - making this a smart moment to get in on the ground floor.
Promotion will be extensive: poster distribution throughout Seattle, advertising in The Stranger and Seattle Times, radio outreach via KNKX, King FM, and KEXP, and a full digital presence through social media, Eventbrite, local calendars, and signage. The show will also be featured in the Best of the Northwest programs.

Application Requirements
Artist will be asked to:
Artists may share a booth, as long as each artist has applied individually and has been juried and accepted. When sharing a booth, one artist has to be responsible for the fees associated with the booth being shared. Booth subletting is not allowed.
CODE OF CONDUCT:
All attendees are required to follow a code of conduct and the policies of the show. Violations of these policies could affect your future attendance. See NWAA Code of Conduct and Event Policies HERE
- Submit a 10% commission on all sales made during the show, collected at the end of the event, with a $700 cap. Because of the low booth fee, the commission covers the show’s costs.
- We ask the artists to donate an item/s they made valued at $35 or more, for promotional efforts. This will be given away to the first 40 customers in the door.
- Advertising the event through their customer list and social media.
- Submit a piece to potentially be featured on the preview gallery table during the show hours. If selected we will feature your name and booth number next to the item to direct customers to your booth.
- The artist can only sell their own individually handmade products that are not mass-produced or made by an assembly line process. Studios are acceptable if the artist/s that made the work are present at the event. Only US or Canadian-made reproductions are allowed. No buy/sell! Jewelers: 40% of your components must be created by you.
- By submitting images and applying to this event, the artist consents to the use of the images in marketing and public relation materials for the purpose of promoting Northwest Art Alliance, including, but not limited to its Fiber + Flair events. This permission extends after the show dates and may be used for future events. If you have questions about this policy, or wish to opt out of our promotional campaign, please contact us.

Booth Information
In your application, we will ask you for your booth size preference (if accepted) and if your display is taller than 5 feet high. 40 booths are located in the beautiful Great Osberg Hall in the National Museum with a 3-tiered booth pricing. Lighting your booth is highly recommended. Electricity will be available in your booth space at no additional cost. There will be a monitored dressing area available for customers to try on clothing. Refund Policy
Artist Cancellation / Refund: Notice of cancellation by the Artist of participation in any event must be provided to NWAA in writing by email to info@nwartalliance.org. If the show is cancelled due to unforeseeable events by the organizers, the booth and other fees (excluding the application fee) will be returned. Applicants will recieve a coupon to apply for free to a future NWAA show.
- If requested before Oct 7, 100% of all fees paid to NWAA will be refunded, excluding Application (not refundable).
- If requested before Nov 20, 70% of all fees paid to NWAA, excluding Application (not refundable).
- If provided by Jan 8, the Artist shall receive 50% of all fees paid to NWAA, excluding Application and/or Jury fee.
- Notices received after Jan 8 will not be entitled to a refund.
- Temporary Seattle Business License is 100% refundable, regardless of notice date.
