Hot Works: Your Art. Our Passion. At Hot Works, our mission is to connect serious art buyers with professional artists, encouraging meaningful purchases of high-quality, original work. We prioritize the caliber of the art over the quantity of artists, ensuring a thoughtfully curated show where every piece is personally handmade by the artist exhibiting.
To preserve the integrity of the art and the relationship between artist and patron, we do not allow music or food vendors within the artist booth areas. This keeps the focus where it belongs—on the artwork and your interaction with patrons.
Our founder and executive producer, Patty Narozny, brings over 35 years of experience in event production and media. Her reputation for credibility, integrity, and professionalism has earned Hot Works a place among the most respected producers of juried fine art shows. Her dedication ensures that each event is not only successful but also rewarding for participating artists.
We are committed to maintaining a strictly juried environment, free from buy/sell and imported goods. While this challenge persists across the art show industry, we actively work to prevent it and welcome confidential reports from artists. If you suspect non-original or mass-produced work at any of our shows, please notify Patty directly—your identity will remain confidential.

Application Requirements
Rules To ensure the quality, professionalism, and integrity of our events, all participating artists must adhere to the following rules. Failure to comply may result in removal from the show without refund and disqualification from future events. 1. Artwork Requirements
All work must be original and handcrafted by the artist. Manufactured, mass-produced, imported, or commercially made items are strictly prohibited.
The artist whose name appears on the application must be present in the booth for the entire duration of the event and must be the individual who created the work.
Misrepresentation of work or identity will result in immediate dismissal without refund.
If more than one person is involved in creating the work, their roles must be fully disclosed in the application.
2. Artist Attendance & ID
Artists must be present and personally staff their booth for the entirety of the show.
A government-issued photo ID may be requested at check-in.
3. Collaborative Work
Joint efforts must be submitted as a collaborative application. All listed artists must make a substantial contribution to each piece displayed.
Ancillary tasks like matting, framing, or clerical assistance do not qualify as collaboration.
No sharing booths unless all artists are represented in juried images.
4. Booth Display Standards
Displays must stay within assigned booth space—no extensions into aisles or adjacent booths.
Booth height and configuration must match the image submitted with your application.
All tents must be white, clean, and in excellent condition, with a minimum of 50 lbs of weight per corner.
Umbrella-style canopies are discouraged due to instability in inclement weather. If used, precautions must be taken to prevent water pooling (e.g., swim noodles or hula hoops placed inside the tent corners).
Tents should be lowered overnight to withstand potential weather changes.
5. Prints, Photography, & Digital Work
Reproductions must be clearly labeled and limited to 30% of the total display.
Photography, digital, or giclée prints must be archival quality, signed, numbered, and in editions of 250 or fewer.
Digital prints must originate from the artist’s own original digital files.
6. Fiber/Bead Art
Beaded and fiber work must be original and demonstrate artistic craftsmanship. Simply stringing beads does not qualify unless the work is sophisticated and artistic in execution. Hot Works reserves the right to determine eligibility.
7. Generators
Generators must be designed for outdoor use, located at least 20 feet from any tent, and may not disrupt neighboring exhibitors.
Generator details, including model and placement, must be disclosed in your application.
Hot Works reserves the right to deny generator use if it is deemed disruptive.
8. Exhibit Expectations
Artists must bring sufficient work to exhibit and sell throughout the entire show.
Early breakdown is prohibited. Artists who leave before closing without an emergency will be disqualified from future participation.
Paintings or artwork may not be displayed on the ground unless previously approved and shown in your booth image.
9. Logistics & Communication
Artist packets will be sent via email after booth payment is received. We have a hotel group rate.
Artists are encouraged to request and distribute event postcards—available upon request.
Building a local mailing list in each city is strongly recommended for future marketing.
Booth assignments are final and made at the discretion of Hot Works. We do our best to honor special requests but cannot guarantee placement. Corner booths are available for purchase and are subject to availability.
Artists bringing trailers must notify the event team at least three weeks in advance with trailer dimensions.
10. Compliance & Integrity
We work diligently to prevent buy/sell and imports. Artists are encouraged to report violations to the show producer, Patty Narozny, in confidence. Your name will remain confidential.
Booth sharing is not permitted unless all artists are represented in the juried application.
11. Setup & Aisle Appearance
All tents must be aligned along the front aisle edge. No part of your display should protrude beyond your designated space, except 2’ behind for storage.
Artists can only hang the sign that is provided by the art show unless approval is given for another sign. Please no vinyl banners.
Artists are welcome to set up and use their own tent that meets the event requirements.
Outside tent rental companies are not permitted to deliver, install, remove, or service tents at any Hot Works art show.
This policy is in place due to:
Agreements with the host city and venue.
Existing agreements with authorized vendors serving Hot Works events.
Insurance and liability requirements.
Event logistics and safety considerations.
Hot Works offers Light Dome tent rentals (with optional ProPanels) for artists who need a rental tent. Rental tents are professionally installed prior to artist arrival and removed following the event.
Thank you for your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe, professional, and efficiently managed event.
