Orange Beach Seafood Festival 2027

The 2027 Orange Beach Seafood Festival will be held at the Wharf on Saturday, February 27th from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. The festival is the major fundraising event for the Makos Academics Arts & Athletics Club (MAAAC), which directly benefits Orange Beach schools. Each year, more than 20,000 people attend this one-day fundraising event.

The annual festival features a full day of delicious food, 75+ artists/crafters from throughout the South, and music for the whole family to enjoy. In addition, there is a large Kids' Zone with activities, and a huge car show - featuring antique, classic and hot rod vehicles all along Main Street.  There is no admission charge to the event and plenty of parking. Volunteers from Orange Beach schools help park cars and donations are accepted in support of our schools.

All Vendors:

• All applications must include a photo of booth set-up, two photo examples of the product, and a description of good/service. Choose photos that best depict what you are offering, as this is crucial for our decision making.
• Behavior: Exhibitors and City staff will always engage in professional behavior. Any exhibitor found to be aggressive, insulting or otherwise unprofessional will be asked to leave the event with no refunds.
• Smoking is not allowed in booths or in public walkways. Smoking must be done outside of the show grounds.
• Selling and advertising must be inside your rented space
• Pets at your booth must be contained, not barking and not aggressive or you will be asked to remove it. 
• Intoxication from alcohol or any other substance is not allowed. If this is the case, you will be asked to leave the event with no refunds.
• Loud music at your booth that hinders the business of your neighbors is not allowed. 
• Selling of live animals is not allowed.
• Selling CBD/Hemp products, weapons, or anything illegal is not allowed.
• Baldwin County requires a Transient Vendor license for most festival participants. This is an annual license (renewed in October) and good for any event in the county. Call Baldwin County License Department at 251-972-6845 if you do not already have the license or if you have questions about whether this applies to your business/organization or not.

Arts & Craft/Non-Profit Vendors:

• All artist's products should be original and created by the vendor
• Limited Commercial Vendors are accepted. We reserve the right to choose those based on the overall variety to the festival experience, relationship with the community, and previous festival participation.
• No promotion-only booths are accepted. 
• All spaces are 10 x 10. Vendors must supply their own 10 x 10 tent and all set-up materials, which include tables, chairs, tent-weights, etc. 
• We encourage 50 lb. weights on each tent leg.  No stake downs allowed – all booths will be on asphalt or concrete.
• Arts & Craft vendors: NO electricity is available and generators are not permitted. 
• We reserve the right to deny admission based on quality of product or the over-abundance of applicants in the same medium. Also, Wharf Managemnet has the right to deny any vendor based on possible competition to one or more of their tenants.

Food Vendors:

• Please note in your description if you are a full-service seafood booth w/ truck or trailer or if you are a specialty food/snack vendor.
• Specialty/Snack Booths are Single item – (Examples.. Specialty Teas, Root Beer Floats, Kettle Corn, Peanuts, etc.)
• Full-Service seafood booth menus must be 90% seafood. It is highly encouraged that vendors have limited menus to keep lines down and improve the overall customer experience. This strategy helps manage the high-volume demand of the busy event by streamlining operations, speeding up service, and ensuring consistent quality. We encourage full food vendors to feature either a variety of seafood options or focus on one or two signature items. There can be complimentary items sold, but seafood must be the focus for the vendor. There are no exclusives in the seafood booths as we know there will be some overlap of seafood used.
• Signage on booth should showcase 90% seafood options.
• Ice will be available at the event-10 lb. bags. 
• Full-Food vendor setup includes power/water. You will need to contain your sewage as there is not sewage hookup. A large roll off trash container will be placed behind food service area for your trash.
• ALL food vendors are subject to inspection by the City of Orange Beach Fire Marshal. Owners must be on-site for this inspection.
• Line up for festival is first-come, first-serve. No exceptions.
• Note- Booths needing 50 amps of power will be limited as our access to power service is limited.
• This festival is being held at The Wharf, an upscale shopping, dining, and entertainment district. The Wharf has certain standards that we must abide by in order to use this space. Food Booths must be clean, orderly and not covered in carnival like signage. 

BOOTH FEES:
-Arts & Crafts Booths and Commercial Booths are $150 each (10x10). No more than two booth spaces per vendor. Double booths are limited and must be approved by the Events Director.

-Food Vendors: Full-Service 90% Seafood Booth w/ Truck or Trailer: $400
                          Specialty Foods/Snack Vendor Fee: $250

CHECK IN / SET UP:

Food Vendors:

• Food/snack vendors must check in and begin their setup on Friday, February 26th, 2027 between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. All food booths must be in place by 12:00 p.m. and prepared for Fire Marshal inspection. Saturday (2/27/27) morning deliveries will be until 8:30 a.m. All vehicles must be off the show grounds by 8:30 a.m. 
• The festival begins at 10 a.m. and lasts until 4 p.m. Vendors must remain througout the duration of the festival.
• Booth space assignments and revenue packets will be distributed at check-in. Detailed vendor set-up information will be emailed approximately two weeks prior to the festival. 

Arts & Craft/Non-Profit Vendors:

• Vendors will be able to check in and begin their setup on Friday, February 26th, 2027 at 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Saturday (2/27/27) morning setup will be from 6:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. All vehicles must be off the show grounds by 8:30 a.m. 
• The festival begins at 10 a.m. and lasts until 4 p.m. Vendors must remain througout the duration of the festival.
• Booth space assignments and revenue packets will be distributed at check-in. Detailed vendor set-up information will be emailed approximately two weeks prior to the festival. 

Application fees are nonrefundable. No booth fee refunds will be given after January 31st, 2027.    All requests must be in writing to the Events Director, Kristin Hatcher, at: events@orangebeachal.gov

Rain Or Shine: Our events are rain or shine; we will not cancel based on a forecast or during rain alone. Show management reserves the right to cancel during an event in progress, if deemed a safety hazard due to lightning, heavy winds, flooding or any other reason deemed "Unsafe." Show management determines the definition of Unsafe during the event. There are no refunds, no transfer of funds and no rain dates if an event is cancelled due to act of God scenarios as mentioned above that make it unsafe.
No credits or refunds will be issued if the show is affected by forces of nature beyond our control during the event taking place.
