Opportunity Summary
The 5th Glass Pumpkin Festival is held at our glassblowing studio in Toughkenamon. We are 5 miles south of Longwood Gardens, Kennett Square, PA.
During the Glass Pumpkin Festival we offer “Make Your Own Glass Pumpkin” each day, all day in our studio. In our first 3 years we were only able to accommodate 96 attendees for the "Make Your Own Glass Pumpkin" part of the three day festival. Last year we were able to increase that availability from 96 to 945 for all 3 days. We plan to do the same this year. We also have other artist, food, a beer and wine garden and live music all around our beautiful and serene 12 acre old DuPont Estate property.
There are more than 945 attendees over the weekend. Each year we mail out 15,000 invitations to residences in Pennsylvania and Delaware. However, our attendees has also come from New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, New York and Connecticut. We also advertise with a banner on Kennett Square's busy State Street for 4 weeks, social media, our glassblowing studio and arts festivals, our hefty email list and with local businesses in Kennett Square, West Chester, Philadelphia and Wilmington, DE. Our event has been shown on Good Day Philadelphia, Fox 29 and 6abc. We also had stories written by the Daily Local among many other local and online newsletters.
Mission: Keep the art of glassblowing and torch work thriving in Chester County.
